Ducklington A also had a close call as they edged past Chipping Norton Reserves 3-2. Scott mason’s double and a goal from Brad Olive was enough to see them through despite late strikes from Keiron Watts and Mike Roberts.

Joe Hatt re-discovered his scoring touch as he scored twice in FC Hollybush’s 5-0 win over Wychwood Forresters. Eddie Brookes, Paul Dray and Warren Senior all also found the back of the net.

Premier Division
West Witney took another big stride along their title charge as they defeated close rivals Chipping Norton Town 2-0. Carl Austin and Tony McLemen scored the goals that keeps West Witney 4 points clear at the top of the Division.

Division One
Stanton Harcourt remain a point clear at the top of Division One as they beat form side Hailey Reserves 2-1. John Andrews scored for Hailey but goals from Dan Hackett and George Woodcock ensure the hosts took all 3 points.

FC Nomads went down 3-1 to Chadlington. Darren Craig scored for the hosts, but Steve Hunt and George Slatter’s goals added to a Nomads own goal to secure the win.

The goals were shared evenly for the visitors as FC Mills went down 6-1 to a rampant Brize Norton. Paul Morrison, Gerard Morgan, Sam Rowe, Richard Taylor, Dan Frizzell and Ben Williams all got on the score sheet with Sam Bower getting Mills solitary reply.

Mike Baker scored twice in Aston’s 5-2 win over Freeland. Ben Crawford and Lloyd Little scored either side of half time for the hosts, but earlier goals from Ryan Hewer, Alex Timms and Dan Long put result beyond doubt.

Division Two
West Witney Reserves were on the wrong end of a surprising 5-1 defeat to lowly Bampton Town, denting their already-faltering promotion campaign. Goals from Ollie Hawkins, Adam Lee, Jake Payne and Dave Naworynsky (2) did the damage.

Eynsham SSC made no mistakes with a 1-0 win over Milton. A single Max Leach goal was enough for all 3 points.

Carterton Pumas move clear in second place after their 4-3 win over Ducklington Reserves. They took a 4-1 lead with goals from Prince Cuniff, Dan Chillington, Dave yates and Darren Davenport, which proved enough despite a second half retort from Duck. However goals from Ryan John, Gary Brooks and Stu Cutts were not enough.

Craig McCallum scored both goals as Charlbury Town Reserves went down 6-2 to North Leigh B. Lewis Hathaway and Craig Horne both sone for the visitors; each picking up a hat trick.

Division Three

Mark Cow scored a hat trick, with Dane Croxford (2), Silas Grey (2), Tom West, Steve Mullins and Nial Lynch all completing the rout. Mark Shepard strike for Greystones was scant consolation.

FC Hollybush Reserves picked up their third win on the trot as they narrowly defeated hosts, Spartan Rangers A 3-2. Iain Harris gave Spartan the lead before Jack Godfrey and Anthony Barlow reversed the score line. A Dean Spivey wonder goal from a tight angle gave the visitors a two-goal cushion which they needed as James Macke pulled a late goal back for the hosts.
