Fred Ford
Bampton United cruised through to the next round of the Fred Ford Cup after a 9-1 thrashing of Eynsham SSC. The visitors were 5-1 up at half time with goals from Nathan Beckett who picked up a4-goal haul. Conor O’Shea grabbed a hat trick with Jack Henry getting 2.

Two of the 3 Carterton based sides faced each other, with Town A emerging victorious after a 2-0 win over local Rivals Carterton Pumas. Chris McNeil and Mike Bolt scored the goals.

Witney Royals came from 4-1 down away at Charlbury to take the game to penalties, drawing 5-5 at 90 minutes. Craig McCallum who scored a hat trick, Stefan Lang and Mark Goode had given the hosts a seemingly unassailable lead, but goals from Matt Thompson (2), Luke Rippington, Steve Brasier and Chris Coggins brought parity to the score line. Royals held their nerve in the penalty shoot out to win 3-1.

Vinnie Snell grabbed a hat trick in Combe’s 3-2 win over Minster Lovell. The visitors got two back through Luke French and Nathan Harris but it was not enough.

Joe Crocker also bagged a hat trick in Ducklington’s 7-2 defeat of Wootton. Ryan Colleton (2), Darren Harris and Gary Brooks got the others with Charlie Bough and Liam Ovley’s goals mere consolation for the visitors.

A single Josh Grant strike for Spartan earned his side a 1-0 win over Freeland securing their passage to the next round.

West Witney are also in the draw after beating Chipping Norton 3-0. Shaun Rayfield, Ian Sparkes and Alex Stubbs (who was later sent off) all got on the score sheet.

Premier Division
Hailey moved into third place after a 3-1 defeat of Aston. Dan Long scored for the hosts but a brace from Dean Mays and a Russell Steele strike was enough to secure the points.

Hanborough pulled away from the drop zone after a fine 4-1 win over strugglers Chadlington. Dan Smith (2) and Will Potter were amongst the goals with Potter accidentally finding the back of his own net for the visitors.

Division One
Brize Norton retain second place with a comfortable 5-2 win over Kingham. Pawel Bronk scored yet another hat trick for the hosts with Rob Hook and Rob Marsh getting the others. Josh Colclough scored both for Kingham.

Matt Winter (2), Rick Coleman, Charlie Vinton, Dave Gainford and Phil Colmer were all on the score sheet after Bourton Rovers 6-1 win over Hanborough Reserves.

Division Two
FC Hollybush returned to the top of Division Two after a 3-1 win over Milton. Dave Cooper, Lee Keys and Paul Dray were all on target in the win with Pip Benfield grabbing one back for Milton.

Finstock returned to winning ways after an 8-0 thrashing of Ducklington Reserves. Ashley Overton and Lee Travers each scored a hat trick with Gary McKinnon and a Duck OG from Ben Jackson adding to the tally.

Witney Royals Reserves are still without a single point this season as they racked up their 8th successive defeat. Mikey Piper scored for the hosts in the 3-1 defeat to Kirtlington with goals from Nathan Kelley, Adam Kelley and Shane Probitts earning all three points for the visitors.

Witney Wanderers’ good form deserted them as they went down 2-1 to Bampton Town. Answer Thompson scored the only goal for the hsots.

Carterton Rangers looked to get their season back on track after their 9-point deduction with a 4-0 win over relegation fodder, FC Mills. Dan Hall grabbed a hat trick with Ben Pearce getting the 4th.

Division Three
Honours were even at the top of Division Three as leaders Minster Lovell were held to a 3-3 draw with Carterton Town B. Craig Sallis again found the net with Nathan Bowles and James Hearn adding. Ollie Bush, Craig Isle and Dan Sollis’ goals levelled the tie.

Jason King (2), Steve Wright and Gavin Komenick scored the goals which gave Spartan Rangers Reserves a 4-0 win over Middle Barton.

Charlbury Town Reserves remain firmly rooted to the foot of the table after going down 2-0 to Chipping Norton Reserves. Matt Smith and Dean Blake with the goals.

Kingham Reserves picked up all three points after a well-earned 5-1 win over Bourton Rovers Reserves. Richard French and Matt Swift bagged a brace each with Tom Edginton getting the other.

Division Four
Tower Hill continue to blaze a trail at the top of Division Four, this week picking up maximum points courtesy of a 9-0 thrashing of Milton Reserves.
Jamie Goodwin scored a hat trick with Adam Bolley (2), Jesse Lawrence (2), Joe Brown getting the goals. Elliot Graham also scored with a goal direct from the corner. The hosts could have made it double figures had goal keeper, Matt Hemsley AND Jamie Goodwin not both missed from the penalty spot.

Corinthians move into third with a hard-earned 5-4 win over in-form Chadlington Reserves. The hosts scored with goals from Shane Peedle (2), Craig Kraveski, and Luke Rose, but Corinthians went one better with goals from Frank Webb (2), Karl Indge, Luke Cuthbert and Dan Smith.

FC Hollybush Reserves took all three points from their visit to Wootton Reserves with a 1-0 win. Dan Bilton scored his 6th of the season in the first half for the visitors.

Bampton United Reserves went down 4-2 to Eynsham SSC Reserves. Curtis and O’Shea were on target for the hosts with Wess (2), Harwood and Parsons on target for Eynsham.

Wychwood Forest picked up their first win of the season with an excellent 4-1 win over Aston Reserves. Ben Powell and Paul Townsend each bagged a brace in the win with Matt Gardener scoring for Aston.
