Jack Busby Cup
Witney Royals ‘upset the bookies” on Saturday, setting aside their poor league form to pick up their first win of the season in the Jack Busby Cup. Royals beat fellow Division Two competitors Ducklington Reserves 4-1. Mikey Piper bagged a brace with Marcus Albert and Tom West getting the other goals. Royals face Brize Norton Reserves in the next round after they defeated Minster Lovell Reserves 2-1. Nathan Bowles Scored for the hosts but goals from Dave Anster and Richard Duffy secured the result.

Carterton Town B eased through after a 7-1 win over Aston Reserves. Dan Sollis bagged 4 with Olly Bush and Craig Isle getting the others. An Aston Own goal completed the rout after Tim Collet had pulled one back for the hosts. Town now have a home tie against Wootton Reserves after they edged past Chadlington Reserves 2-0. Paul Biggham and Dean Wasilewski with the goals.
Hanborough Reserves meet Spartan Rangers Reserves in the next round. Boro’ edged through after a goal from Scott Akers gave them a 1-0 win over Bampton United, while Spartans passage was secured with a 2-1 win over Charlbury Town Reserves. Dave Cross and Steve Wright with the telling goals.

Chipping Norton Reserves saw off Eynsham SSC Reserves 7-1. Jonny Dunn grabbed a hat trick as Matt Smith, Mark Pratley and Sam Phillpott also added. Dan Harwood scored Eynsham’s lone goal. Chippy will meet Hailey Reserves in the next round after they eased past FC Hollybush Reserves 6-0. After a Bush Own goal from Fred Bateman gifted Hailey an early lead, the hosts slowly came into their own with Luke Manning netting three. Callum Mutch and John Andrews added the others late into the match.

Premier Division
Ducklington stay top of the Premier Division after a convincing 5-2 win over Witney Royals. Jack Morton scored two in the match with Ryan Colleton, Joe Crocker and ex-Royal, Jamie Kennedy also finding the back of the net. Alex Coleman and Steve Green scored for the vanquished visitors.

Hailey sit joint top with Duck after a 2-1 win over Carterton Town A. Mike Bolt scored for the hosts but goals from Perry Tinson and Joel King secured all three points for Hailey.

A single goal from Kev Lewis was enough to secure all three points for West Witney in their 1-0 win over Chipping Norton Town.

Hanborough and Aston shared the points after a 2-2 draw. Aston were ahead at half time but goals either side of the break from Tom Lewis and Craig Johnson levelled the tie.

At the bottom, Minster Lovell leapfrogged their opponents Chadlington courtesy of a 1-0 win dropping the hosts into the bottom spot. The goal from Steven Burke edged Minster a step closer to safety.

Division One
Brize Norton Reserves moved to the top of Division One after an edgy 3-2 win over North Leigh A. Jason Blackman and Ryan Maskery scored for North Leigh, but goals from Ben Williams, Dan Frizell and Bart Lachwicz

FC Nomads picked up an easy 3 points after they defeated Freeland 6-2. Adi Williams and Marc Buckingham were on target for the hosts but Chris Lawrence lead the demolition banging in a hat trick. Nial Lynch (2) and David Pryse scored the others.

Josh Grant scored a brace in Spartan Rangers 3-0 win over Kingham. Jamie Timms netted the other.

Division Two
Lee Keys scored twice in FC Hollybush’s 2-0 win over FC Mills. The win keeps them top of Division Two on goal difference over Kirtlington, who narrowly beat AC Finstock 4-3. Adam Kelly (2), Nathan Kelly and Anthony Brooker scored the goals for the hosts with Gary McKinnon, Andy Jackson and Lee Travers scoring for Finstock.

Combe smashed in seven passed Bampton Town in a 7-2 mauling. Roger Moss and Chris Betreen each netted a hat trick with Peter Searle getting the other. Jack Goodchild and Aaron Robbins scored for Bampton.

Chris Balf (2) James Barker and Billy Hales scored for Carterton Rangers as they beat Milton 3-0.

Division Three
Nathan Beckett banged in a four-timer as Bampton United beat Kingham 10-0. Conor O’Shea and Jack Henry each grabbed a hat trick.

At the bottom, Ducklington A went down 3-2 to Bourton Rovers Reserves, dropping into the relegation zone in the process. Anthony Lune and George Townsend scored for the hosts but Josh Catling (2) and Tony Tombs scored the telling goals for Bourton.

The points were shared at Middle Barton where the hosts drew 1-1 with Wootton. Rob Davis and Kenny Rawlins scored for Middle Barton and Wootton respectively.

Division Four
Corinthians moved to the top of the table on goal difference alone courtesy of a 10-2 thrashing of Wychwood Forest. Dan Smith (3), Karl Agnew, Luke Cuthbert, Luke Hessey and Frank Webb scored the goals with Tom Nicholson and Ben Powell scoring the consolation goals for the hosts.

Spartan Rangers A beat Milton Reserves 3-0. Dexter Lancaster, John Oswald and an own goal contributed to the final tally.
