Fred Ford Cup – Round 2
Ben Sunblad scored a hat trick in 30 minutes in Aston’s 4-1 win over Stanton Harcourt. Dan Smith replied for the hosts but a Matt Smith goal put the result beyond doubt.

Jack Busby Cup – Round 2
Witney Royals Reserves hosted Aston Reserves and dished out a 5-1 thrashing to their guests. Dan Paintin and Mikey Piper each bagged a brace with Andy Cross getting the other. Alex Timms scored for Aston.

Division 3’s Carterton B eased past FC Hollybush Reserves from Division Four, beating them 5-1. Goals from Lee Manning, David Anthony, Adam Harris, Ollie Bush and Matt Hubert secured their passage after Angelo Aniello’s first half strike for Hollybush had given the hosts a brief scare.

Dan Townsend’s two goals were not enough for Chadlington Reserves as they were convincingly knocked out 7-2 by Kingham AB Reserves. Rob Collard bagged a four-timer with Martin Price, Kurtis Atkins and Lee Watson getting the others.

It took 120 minutes time to separate Chipping Norton Reserves and Spartan Rangers Reserves after they drew 3-3 at full time. Goals during the match from Sam Philpotts (2) and Daryl Soper for the hosts brought parity to the score line after Nick Angus (2) and Tom Merchant had given the visitors the lead. However, strikes in Extra Time from Sam Thornton and Keiron Watts settled the tie 5-3 in favour of the hosts.

Stephen Henderson and Paul Read scored the goals for West Witney as they picked up a 2-0 win on their travels to Brize Norton Reserves.

Gary Jones (2) and John Webb scored for Charlbury Town Reserves as they beat Freeland B 3-1. New signing, Dan Godden struck a late goal for the hosts.

Premier Division
Witney Royals consigned West Witney to their first defeat of the season, narrowly beating them 3-2. Carl Dodds and Carl Austin scored for the hosts but goals from Tom Kempster, Will Graham and Matt Thompson gave all three points to Royals who move into third.

Chipping Norton now have a 4-point gap at the top of the Premier Division after beating Charlbury Town 3-2. Craig McCallum and Sean Gilbert scored for the hosts but goals from Alan Witham, Warwick Thompkins and Andy McCabe proved enough for Chippy.

The points were shared as Spartan Rangers and Ducklington drew 2-2. Alex Thompson and Charlie Waite put Spartan ahead before Ben Hutter and Ian Peedell levelled the tie.

Carterton A took all three points courtesy of their 3-1 win over Hanborough. David Craig, Chris McNeill and Dan Sollis all found the back of the net as Scott Akers replied in vain for Boro’.

Division One
Joey Burgess scored a hat trick for Hanborough Reserves yet still finished on the losing side after the hosts went down 5-3 to FC Nomads. Chris Lawrence (2), Jon Woodward, Shane Imms and Andy Blissett scored for Nomads securing the win.

Mo Semlali was on target for Hailey Reserves again as they beat Chadlington 3-1. John Andrews and Tom Gonzales got the others with Kevin Mulhearn netting for Chadlington.

Dom Hemmings and Dan Davies both scored twice in Kingham AB’s 6-0 thrashing of FC Mills. Edie Webb and Darrel Middleton scored the others leaving Mills without a point this season.

Division Two

Milton lost the chance to go top of the table after they went down 2-1 to Combe. Jamie Fisher scored both goals for the hosts with Roger James hitting back for Milton.

Eynsham SSC also failed to take top spot after they were held to a 2-2 draw against Witney Wanderers. John Ayres and Lewis Clarke scored for Eynsham as Tom Gregory and Martin Jones replied for Wanderers.

Dan Wilkinshaw, Dan Chillington and Steven Harris all scored for Carterton Pumas as they beat Middle Barton 3-1. Jack Eaglestone got one back for Middle Barton in the second half.

Division Three

Carterton Rangers and FC Hollybush remain locked at the top of Division Three with just a single goal separating the two. Rangers saw off Tackley 3-2 with goals from James Barker, Ben Pearce and Craig Williams with Dan Woodley and Chris Betreen netting for the hosts.

FC Hollybush earned their 3 points after a 2-0 win over Minster Lovell, leapfrogging them into second place in the process. Paul Dray and Karim Diallo found the back of the net for the visitors.

Wootton and Kirtlington took a share of the points as they played out a 2-2 draw. Arrun Bowerman (2) scored the goals for Wootton with Callum Emmett and Steve Foreman scored for Kirtlington.

Division Four
Eynsham SSC Reserves picked up their first win of the season after beating Witney Royals A 5-3. Kevin Webb scored a hat trick with Jamie Hewitt and Greg Seeney getting the others. James Bruce (2) and Josh Russell replied in vain for Royals.

Bourton Rovers stay top courtesy of a 3-1 win over Spartan Rangers A. Charlie Vinton, Jake Oakey and Stefan Ternier scored the telling goals. Adam Skews netted for Spartan.

Corinthians beat Milton Reserves 2-1 with Matthew Walters getting both goals. Pip Benfield hit back in the second half for Milton.

Bampton United and Ducklington A took a point each after they drew 2-2. Ryan Southwood and Nathan Beckett scored for the hosts with Scott Mace (2) scoring for Duck.

Jason Hornsby, Neil Mustoe and Liam Gough all got on the score sheet for Wychwood Forest as they beat Greystones 3-1. Rocky Burton scored the consolation goal for the visitors.
