Witney & District Junior Shield
The Witney & District League began to fight back against the weather this weekend with the majority of games going ahead. Carterton Rangers eased through to the second round after a3-0 win over Milton. The goals came from Chris Balfe, Ben Pearce and Sam Giles.

FC Mills will be joining Rangers as they edged past Bampton Town 3-2. Jake Payne and Arron Robbins scored for Bampton but a brace from Rob DeBanks and a rare goal from Steve Lyons settled the tie in Mills’ favour.

Finstock also made the draw for the next round by the same score line in a 3-2 win n over Witney Royals Reserves. Josh White, Lee Travers and Ashley Overton scored for the hosts with Marcus Albert and Richard Sims two back for Royals.

Supplementary Cup
It took extra time to separate Kingham and Corinthians as they played out an epic tie at in the Supplementary Cup. The hosts from Division One scored early through Luke Herbert. Frank Webb equalised for Corinthians, leaving the teams level at the break. A flurry of goals in the second half took the score line to 4-4 at full time with Ed Webb (2), Herbert, Gareth Price and Ryan Bayliss all getting amongst the goals. Dan Smith also scored for the visitors, with Frank Webb completing his hat trick for the side from Division Four, who despite a valiant effort, succumbed to two more goals from the hosts. Kingham running out eventual winners 7-5.

Premier Division
Chipping Norton Town remain top after narrowly beating bottom side Chadlington 2-1. Rhys Bayliss and Warwick Thompkins scored the goals for the hosts that keep them 3 points clear at the top.

West Witney got back to winning ways as they beat Carterton Town A 3-1. Kev Lewis scored twice with Carl Austin getting the other. Jason Lonsdale got one back for the hosts.

Charlbury Town kept within touching distance of the leaders after a 2-0 win over Aston. Stefan Lang and Tony Bott with the goals.

Division One
Bourton Rovers moved top by goal difference after a comfortable 4-1 win over Freeland. The hosts got on the score sheet through a Bourton Own Goal, but Bourton were already in command and settled the tie with goals from Matt Winter (2), David Gainford and Mark Payne.

Result of the day came at Brize Norton where the hosts went down 4-3 to FC Nomads. The hosts put up a solid performance but were eventually out-gunned by Nomads. Chris Lawrence bagged another hat trick for the visitors with veteran Mike Hole netting his second goal in as many games. Rob Marsh, Dan Frizzell and Matt Townsend all scored for Brize but it was not enough.

Carterton Pumas beat Eynsham SSC 2-1. Carl Naughton scored twice for the hosts with Matt Walker pulling one back for Eynsham.

Division Three
The only match in Division Three, Wootton v Minster Lovell was abandoned when Wootton player Kenny Rawlings broke his leg. The score was 2-2 at the time of the unfortunate incident.

Division Four
Eynsham SSC Reserves were outgunned as they played hosts to Bampton United Reserves losing 6-4. Despite scoring through Darren Mobey, Matt Walters, Kevin Webb and Lee Parsons, Eynsham were put to the sword by Nathan Beckett, who helped out his Reserves side by scoring a hat trick. Hayden Boot and Tom Boot added further goals with Gareth Wok finishing the scoring.
