I’ve absolutely no idea what happened to the first copy… as you said, it’s slightly worrying as I always send myself a copy… I’ve not receive that either.

Hopefully this ballsed up and truncated version gets to you in time and is enough of a space filler.

Junior Shield
Carterton showed no signs of a festive hang over as they despatched Rose Hill 6-1. Mike Duerden scored a hat trick with Luke Simmonds and David Craig adding.

Warwick Thompkins (2), Garry Smith, James Harri and Rhys Warner-Carter all found the back of the net in Chipping Nortons 5-3 win over Sinclair United.

Premier Division
League leaders Hailey started off the new year with a big 3-1 win over second placed Hanborough. Joey King scored twice in the victory which sees Hailey move 3 points clear of Boro’. Russ Winstone grabbed the other with Will Potter scoring for the visitors.

North Leigh picked up 3 points in their title charge after a 2-0 win over Combe. Jason Lonsdale and an own goal secured the win.

Jack Kennedy and Matt Thompson scored the goals for Witney Royals in their 2-1 defeat of Kingham. Dan Davies scored for the visitors.

FC Chequers returned with a win as they defeated Spartan Rangers 3-1. Ryan Hewer, Kev Davies and Stuart George with the goals. Andrew Short scored the visitors only goal.

Division One
With the division leaders not playing, most of the action in Division two occurred at the other end of the table. Ducklington Reserves picked up their first win of the season with a fine 5-2 thrashing of Witney Royals Reserves. Nicky Beer (2), Andy Jackson, Ray Read and Dave Barker all scored with Luke Rippington and an own goal being the only things Royals had to show for their troubles.

FC Nomads 0 v 2 Aston (Ben Sunblad 2)

Division Two
At the top of the table, leaders FC Chequers were held to a 1-1 draw by hosts Ducklington A. Dan Bilton gave the visitors the lead with Tom Madden securing a point with a last gasp equaliser.

Middle Barton 2 (Paul Kay 2) v 4 Hailey Reserves (Charlie Winstone, Carl Russel, David Weetman, John Andrews)
Bampton 7 (Brian Wright 3, Ross Prior, Dan Cartwright, David Naworymsky) v 1 Charlbury Town Reserves (Martin Grimsley)
Brize Norton Reserves 1 (Gerard Morgan) v 0 Witney Wanderers
Wootton 0 v 4 Freeland (Jamie Perkin 2, Adie Williams, Ben Crawford)

Division Three
Eynsham SSC fell to their first defeat of the season in the league as Carterton Pumas won 2-1. Simon Turner and Kai Merrit scored the goals with John Ayres netting for the hosts.

This helped North Leigh B take a 5 point lead at the top of he table after beating Spartan Rangers Reserves 6-0. Lewis Hathaway (2), Nick Hunt, Justin Timms, Tom Townsend and Bartek Lachwicz scored the goals.

FC Hollybush 2 (Ed Brookes, Paul Dray) v 0 Tackley
West Witney Reserves 2 (Josh Grant, Steve Henderson) v 2 Minster Lovell Reserves (Cody Davies, Adam Bennett)
Aston Reserves 3 (Dan Godden 2, Mike Baker) v 6 AFC Marlborough (Alexis Metcalfe 2, Andy Gilespie, Anthony Brooker, Rob Seal, Bruce Wilson)

Division Four
Carterton Rangers put a massive dent in Corinthians title challenge whilst giving themselves a 4 point lead at the top of the table after a 9-1 thrashing of the surprisingly out of form hosts. Stefan Read grabbed a hat trick with Josh Bishop, Tom Clapham and James Baker each bagging a brace. Frank Webb scored for the hosts.

At the bottom, Eynsham SSC secured only their second win of the campaign with a 3-0 Win over Combe Reserves. Luke Massingham scored two with Dan Willis getting the other.

Keiron Durrant scored all 5 of FC Mills Reserves goals in their 5-3 win over Wychwood Forresters.
