John Fathers Junior Shield
Chipping Norton from Division One produced a shock in the John Fathers Junior Shield as they beat Premier Division side North Leigh A. Lloyd Lewis scored for the hosts but goals from Mark Corbett (2) and Reece Bayliss secured their passage to the next round with a 3-1 win.

Charlbury Town are also through with the same 3-1 score line after seeing off Bardwell. Sean Gilbert, Craig McCallum and Tom Sharpe scored the winning goals.

Craig Mays and Gary Brooks scored for Ducklington putting securing their passage to the next round after their 2-0 win over Witney Royals.

West Witney survived a scare after conceding a 3-0 half time lead only to edge through against Hardwicke Old Boys 4-3. Tony McLemen, Tom Perry, Carl Dodds and Alex Stubbs scored for the hosts.

Stanton Harcourt edged through 2-1 against Chesterton. Dan Hackett and George Woodcock scored the goals .

It took 120 minutes for Carterton A to see off KEA from the Banbury District and Lord Jersey FA. Two goals from Mike Duerden and a Luke Simmonds strike gave the visitors a 3-1 win.

Middle Barton came up against current Junior Shield holders, Thame United and were duly despatched from the competition. Ashley Scearce and Dean Harris scored the consolation goals for the visitors in the 8-2 defeat.

Hanborough were also knocked out going down 2-1 to Rose Hill. Tom Weedon scored for Boro’.

Carterton Pumas met their Waterloo as they were beaten 5-1 by ABBA Athletic. Matthew Mills goal was the only thing the hosts took from the game.

FC Nomads were also knocked out of the cup as they lost 2-0 to Sams United.

Premier Division
In the days only game in the Premier Division, Combe sealed a 1-0 win over FC Chequers. Mike Gardener scored the match winning goal.

Division One
Dan Frizzell scored a hat trick in Brize Norton’s 9-1 win over Ducklington Reserves. Matt Howard (2), Colin Tyrell, Rob Hook, Steve Marshall and Adrian Godwin scored the other goals for the hosts.

Witney Royals picked up a valuable point against Aston after a thrilling 4-4 draw. Ryan Colleton (2), Nathan Bowles and Carl Shepherd scored for the hosts with Matt Brown (2), Darryl Kew and Phil Caswell netting for Aston.

Division Two
Tom Gonzales scored a hat trick in FC Chequers Reserves 5-1 win over Ducklington A, stretching their lead at the top of Division Two to 6 points. Despite being kept on the back foot for most of the match, the hosts took the lead through Doug Mulvihill after Chequers keeper Dan Cox saved a Jason Hirschfield penalty at 0-0. Karim Diallo scored the other with Mark Hawkins netting for Duck.

Freeland A moved back into second after a 7-2 win over Brize Norton Reserves. Richard Stanley, Ben Crawford and Andy Bell each bagged a brace with Joe Crocker getting the other. Chris King and Rob Brown scored for Brize.

Milton bounced back from last weeks’ defeat by beating Wootton 2-0. Rob James and James Littlewood scored the goals for the hosts.

Hailey Reserves beat Charlbury Reserves 5-3 with Carl Russell (2), Charlie Winstone, Joe Hyatt and David Weetman getting on the score sheet. Mark Deller, Sam Cleaver and Mark Goode replied for Charlbury.

Bampton almost let a 3-0 half time lead slip before beating Witney Wanderers 4-3. Gareth Edwards (2), Ollie Hawkins and Jack Green found the back of the net for the hosts earning them all three points with Darryl John (2) and Roger Perreira replying for Wanderers.

Division Three
Pawel Bronk scored a hat trick for leaders North Leigh B in their 4-2 win over AFC Marlborough. Lewis Hathaway scored the other with Anthony Brooker getting two for Boro’.

Second placed Eynsham SSC kept the pressure on the leaders with a convincing 6-1 win over Aston Reserves. Stu McLaren scored the hosts only goal as John Ayres smashed in a four-timer for Eynsham. Lewis Clarke also netted twice for the visitors.

Minster Lovell Reserves beat Kingham AB Reserves 5-2. Player Manager Cody Davies scored two in the win with Adam Bennett, John Forteath and Arrun Mullis getting the others. Chris Futer and Jack Charnley scoring for Kingham.

Matt Townsend scored 2 for Spartan Rangers Reserves as they were beaten 5-2 by FC Hollybush. Ed Brookes, Paul Dray, Dean Spivey, Steve Aldous and an own goal contributed to the rout.

Witney Royals A picked up another valuable 3 points after a 3-2 win over Chipping Norton Reserves. Goals from midfield stalwarts, Ali Dorward and Loyd Edwards accompanied an Ed Rouse strike to seal the win. Mark Barnes and Mark Clifton hit back for Chippy.

The points were shared at Tackley where the hosts drew 2-2 with West Witney Reserves. Matt Currill scored both goals for Tackley with Elliot Graham and Jamie Goodwin replying for West Witney.

Division Four
There were no surprises at top met bottom with Carterton B clocking an impressive 13-1 win over Burford. Ollie Bush grabbed a 4-goal haul with Chris James, Matt Herbert, John Smales scoring two each. Scott Walters, Adam Harris and Dave Anstee got the others. Jason Hornsby’s strike for Burford was scant consolation.

Corinthians continued their good form with a 6-1 win over Wychwood Foresters. Simon Gibbs scored for the hosts but the visitors took all three points with goals from Frank Webb (3), Darren Mobey, Matt Walters and Richard Meredith.

FC Mills Reserves thrashed Eynsham SSC Reserves 8-0 with Arran Rowland grabbing a hat trick in the process.Keiron Durrant (2), Shane Roach, Mike Rowland and Andrew Saverton getting the others.

Rocky Burton scored three in Greystones 4-2 win over Spartan Rangers A. Pete Rafferty got the 4th with James Simpson scoring both for the visitors.
