Premier Division
West Witney missed the chance of picking up the Premier Division title midweek after going down 3-2 to second place Hanborough. Goals from Dan Haggie (2) and Tom Lewis over the League Leaders delayed the inevitable until this weekend. Kevin Lewis and Carl Austin scored for West Witney who can now only lose the title if they suffer a worse result that Hanborough with a swing of more than 11 goals. The hosts can make certain of the title if they pick up the single point they need against Charlbury Town this weekend.

At the other end of the table, Spartan Rangers found themselves relegated after a 0-0 draw with Ducklington. Despite a good performance from the away side, the point wasn’t enough for Spartan who will be playing Division One football next season.

They will join already-relegated North Leigh A who suffered another defeat, this time a 4-1 loss to Charlbury Town. Craig McCallum scored a hat trick with Gareth Benfield getting the other.

Division One
Aston’s slim chance of taking the Division One title took a blow mid week as they were held to a 1-1 draw with FC Nomads. Alex Timms scored for the hosts with Steve Bircher getting Nomads’ goal. Aston, however can still clinch promotion if they pick up 3 points from their remaining two games.

In the drop zone, hosts Hanborough Reserves were relegated after only picking up a point in their 2-2 draw with Kingham AB. The hosts were leading at half time through Arrun Hobley and Liam Busby. The win would have been enough but goals from Michael Briggs and Sean Collins levelled the tie and consigned Boro’ to Division Two football next season.

They will join FC Mills who were relegated last month. They suffered a 7-0 defeat to Brize Norton with Dan King picking up a hat trick.

Division Two
West Witney Reserves picked up another win at the weekend, having just missed out on promotion. Keith Frendo, Matt Townsend and Tom Perry scored the goals before a late controversial penalty was converted by Jake Forster for Milton.

Division Three
FC Hollybush clinched the Division Two Title after a deciding 2-1 win over their title challengers Carterton Rangers. After a midweek 10-1 thrashing of Tackley, the hosts picked up the points they needed to win the Division Three crown after goals from Paul Dray and a wonderful long range lob from Dave Cooper. Andy Stone scored from the spot late into the match but could not find the other goal to level the tie.

Kirtlington will win promotion if they are able to find another three points from their remaining game. They gave themselves a chance by picking up a point against Tackley in a 1-1 draw. Roger Moss and Adam Kelly scored for Tackley and Kirtlington respectively.

With games remaining to complete the fixture list in the middle of the table, Minster Lovell Reserves went down 2-1 to Wootton. Sam Hatton scored for the hosts, but goals from Jason Ludlow and John Holder won the points for Wootton.

Division Four
With only pride to play for, Milton Reserves and Hollybush Reserves played out a fair-spirited 2-2 draw. The visitors twice took the lead with goals from Dan Bilton and Angello Aniello, but were twice pegged back with strikes from James Rawlings and Dan Hootton.
