Oxfordshire Charity Cup
Hanborough’s cup run came to an end as they were dumped out of the Oxfordshire Charity Cup by AFC Hinksey 3-0.

Premier Division
Hailey’s title charge was temporarily halted on Saturday as the went down 3-1 to Carterton A. Craig Isle, Lee Manning and Rob Marsh scored the goals for the hosts with Dan Crossman hitting back in the second half for Hailey who remain 6 points clear at the top.

North Leigh A missed the chance to go joint second after only managing a 2-2 draw with opponents Witney Royals. Jason Lonsdale and Declan Shepherd scored for the hosts with Jack Kennedy and Steven Brasier scoring for Royals.

The points were also shared at Ducklington where the hosts drew 2-2 with Spartan Rangers. Malony snatched a point for Duck with a last minute header.

FC Chequers continued to slip after going down 3-0 to fellow strugglers, Charlbury Town. Ryan Healing and Shaun Gilbert added to an own goal to seal the win for the visitors.

Kingham AB went down 2-0 to Combe with Simon Gale and Matt Baker grabbing the goals.

Division One

West Witney sounded their title credentials on Saturday with a 12-0 thrashing of AC Finstock. Tony McLeman scored 5 whilst Karl Dodds grabbed a hat trick. Adam Bolley, Chris Hirons, Danny King and Danny McDonough scored the other goals which keep West Witney 6 points clear at the top.

Chipping Norton moved into second after a 3-0 win over Aston. Warwick Tompkins (2) and Rhys Bayliss scored the goals.

Relegation threatened Hanborough Reserves gave themselves a leg up on their opponents Witney Royals Reserves after beating them 6-2. Royals who are now 6 points adrift at the bottom went down to goals from Joey Burgess (2), Adam Hemp (2), Scott Akers and Rob Keylock. Boro, who still occupy the other spot in the drop zone are now just 2 points from safety.

Stanton Harcourt and Minster Lovell drew 1-1 with Jack Willis and Nathan Harris scoring respectively.

A superb Andy Jamieson free kick was the only goal of the game as Ducklington Reserves picked up a 1-0 win over FC Mills.

Division Two
With none of the top three playing this weekend, Hailey Reserves had the chance to move into third place. However, they came unstuck as visiting Witney Wanderers beat them 3-1. Roger Periera, tom Gregory and Martin Jones got the goals with Stu Morrison getting the hosts goal in the first half.

Milton lead the chasing pack after beating Middle Barton 3-0. Roger Jones (2) and Robert Jones scored the goals.

Brize Norton Reserves picked up another 3 points and moved out of the relegation zone after beating and leap-frogging Charlbury Town Reserves. Chris King scored twice with Ben Williams, Shan Rawlings, Mark Denmark and Rob Hook getting the others. Carl Siford and Mark Deller scored the for the home side in the first half.

Relegated Wootton went down 2-0 to Bampton. Guy Wiseman and Jamie Austin scored the goals.

Division Three
Eynsham went back to the top of Division Three after a comfortable 5-0 win over Aston Reserves. John Ayres got two of the 5 with Matt Warner, Ross Lewington and Jamie Hewitt getting the others.

North Leigh B’s chances of promotion took a huge setback after they were beaten 3-0 by Chipping Norton Reserves. Chris Mason, Keiron Watts and Dan Grimes scored the winning goals.

AFC Marlborough leap-frogged West Witney as they handed out a 4-0 beating to their opponents. Nathan Kelly, Steve Foreman, Alex Matcalfe and Tom Wilson scored for the hosts.

The points were shared at FC Hollybush as the hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by Kingham AB Reserves. Joe Hatt equalised for the hosts in the second half.

Division Four
Carterton B stretched their lead at the top of Division Four to 4 points after beating promotion hopefuls Corinthians, 2-1. Both sides were set for a share of the spoils after Frank Webb and Dave Anstee scored for Corinthians and Carterton respectively, but a late Mark Read own goal gave Carterton the points.

Ducklington B and FC Mills Reserves were involved in a 12-goal feast with the visitors coming out 8-4 winners. Charlie Parry (2), Josh Hartley and Jeff Brunton scored for Ducklington but a hat trick from Jamie Smith, with a brace a piece from Shane Roach, and Martin East and a single Arrun Rowland strike put the result beyond doubt.

Wychwood Forest beat Eynsham SSC Reserves 2-0 with David Lydiat and Ben Powell getting the goals.
