Premier Division
With the league leaders Hailey not playing at the weekend, Hanborough had the chance to close the gap to just 3 points. However, they had to overcome North Leigh A. It was the hosts that took the lead through Declan Shepherd, but Boro’s Tom Weedon levelled in the second half to earn them a 1-1 draw.
At the other end of the table, Charlbury Town picked up a well earner point against Witney Royals in their 0-0 stalemate.
Carterton A turned over Combe 3-2 with Chris Bowles, Mike Duerden and Craig Isle getting the goals. Sam Benwell and Mike Gardener hit back for Combe.
A single strike from Andrew Shaw was enough to give Spartan Rangers all 3 points against Kingham AB.
Division One
There were no surprises as top met bottom in Division One, with Chipping Norton emerging 8-1 victors of bottom side Witney Royals Reserves. Rhys Warner-Carter, Mark Corbett and Rhys Bayliss each bagged a brace with Gary Smith and Warwick Thompkins scoing the other. Chris Coggins scored the only goal for Royals.
The points were shared at Brize where the hosts drew 1-1 with AC Finstock. Matt Howard and Dan Claridge scored for Brize and Finstock respectively.
Nathan Harris scored for Minster in their 1-1 draw with FC Mills. Alex Dyakowski replied for Mills with both goals coming in th second half.
Division Two
Middle Barton put a spanner in the works of Milton’s promotion push by beating the visitors 2-0. Ashley Scearce scored both goals, one either side of half time.
Ryan John, Jason Hirshfield and Matthew Hunter all scored for Ducklington A in their sides 3-0 win over Witney Wanderers. The goals, which ll came in the second half, keep Duck 5 points clear at the top of Division 2.
Division Three
Kail Merritt scored a hat trick in Carterton Puma’s 7-0 thrashing of Chipping Norton Reserves. Dean Matthews, Phil Stannard, Carl Norton and Jon Ward scored the others.
Dan Tasker scored 2 in FC Hollybush’s 3-1 win over Aston Reserves. Ed Brookes scored the other with Dan Goddard replying for Aston.
Division Four
Ducklington B picked up 3 points after their 5-1 demolition of Eynsham SSC Reserves. Bradley Snell (2), Ben Jackson along with Charlie Parry and Jamie Saverton all found the back of the net.
Carterton B drew 0-0 with neighbours Carterton Rangers.
