John Fathers Junior Shield – Quarter Final
Carterton Town A booked their place in the semi final of the Junior Shield after a comfortable 5-2 win over KEA from the Banbury & District League. The goals were shared amongst Liam Elliot, Jack Lonsdale, Jack Morton, Dan Chillington and Jason Trinder.

Spartan Rangers will join them in the draw as they saw off Bicester Town Colts 4-1. Dave Cross, Henry Clarke, Luke Pettifer and Rob Marchbank were all on the score sheet in the win.

West Witney weren’t so lucky as they went down 2-1 to Ashton Villa, also from the Banbury & District. Danny Brearly was on target for the visitors who were unable to muster an equaliser.

Fred Ford Cup – Quarter Final
Bourton Rovers cruised into the semi-final of the Fred Ford Cup after a straightforward 4-0 defeat of Eynsham SSC. Connor Teague netted twice with Callum Trott and Adam Webley getting the others.

In round Three, Tower Hill Stars of Division Three picked up a huge scalp in the form of a 7-3 win over Division One’s North Leigh A. Tom Harvey, Michael Pratley and Justin Timms all got on the score sheet for North Leigh, but Tower Hill were in scintillating form, with seven different scorers, adding to their tally. Will Graham, Adam Townsend, Lee Travers, Darren Tasker, James Scott, Kevin Davies and Sam Bowers all getting in on the act.

Supplementary Cup – First Round
Oli Page scored all four of his sides goals as Eynsham A cruised past Aston Reserves 4-0.

Premier Division
Relegations threatened Witney Royals picked up a very well earned point against third placed Hanborough after a 0-0 stalemate. The point gained could prove vital to Royals at the end of the season however hosts, Boro’ will look at this as two points dropped.

Division One
Jamie McDonough scored both goals for third placed Carterton Rangers in their 2-2 draw with Division Leaders Kirtlington in a predictably tight match. Goals from Ryan Moran-Ross and Ross Grey earned a point for the visitors.

Hosts Brize Norton have reason to celebrate their 2-2 draw with Aston as it earned them their first point of the season. Jack Goodchild and Ryan Hewer netted for Aston but goals from Dan Humm and Shaun Rawlings meant that Brize Norton earned a share of the spoils.

Stonesfield went down 3-2 to Chadlington with Danny Case, Jay Webb and an Own goal being enough to take the points fort the visitors. Lloyd Belcher and Paul Penny replied for Stonesfield.

Division Two
In the only match in Division Two, hosts FC Nomads drew 2-2 with Hanborough Reserves. Hot shot Chris Laurence bagged another brace with Dan Smith and Luke James replying for Boro’.

Division Three
Tower Hill regained top spot after a 5-3 win over Bampton United Reserves. Luke Bolley (2), Lewis Bartlett, Jamie Harris and Leigh Smith were all on target for the visitors with Joe Paintin, Daniel Paintin and Rich Ghagan hitting Bampton’s response.

FC Mills remain rooted to the foot of the table after going down 6-2 to Witney Royals Reserves. Anthony Barlow, (in his final game before retiring) opened the scoring for the visitors in the first minute with a free kick and doubled his tally later in the match from the spot. Sam Fuller added a brace to the tally with Ryan Cummins and a Dale Howlett rocket completing the rout. Rob DeBanks scored one of Mills consolations from the penalty spot with Dave Elliot also gifting the hosts an own goal. ……… thank you, and goodnight.

Jack Eley and John Umney scored for hosts Middle Barton but ended up on the wrong end of a 7-2 score line against Wychwood Forest. Steve Harris scored a hat trick in the match with Tom Cairns and Jack Gibson each bagging a brace.

Division Four
In the battle of Division Four’s top two sides, leaders FC Hollybush Reserves were held to a 1-1 draw by second placed Charlbury Town Reserves. Matt Cox scored for hosts Charlbury with Arron Hyatt replying for the visitors.

Darren Mobey bagged a four-goal-haul in Eynsham SSC Reserves’ 7-0 thrashing of Brize Norton Reserves. Dan Johnson (2) and Dan Clifford weighed in with the other goals.
