John Fathers Junior Shield
It was a good day for Witney & District sides in the Junior Shield as both Carterton Town A and Spartan Rangers advanced to the next round. Carterton cruised through after a resounding 12-1 thrashing of Bodicote. Jack Morton lead the scoring with a 5-goal-haul, followed by Jason Lonsdale who picked up a hat trick. Younger brother Jack Lonsdale also netted with Kevin Rookes, Mike Bolt and an own goal all contributing to the tally.

Spartan saw off Chasewell Park 6-3. Harry Thomson bagged a brace with Charlie Waite, Josh Grant, Frank Clarke and Jamie Timms all scoring.

Oxfordshire Charity Cup – Quarter Final
In the Charity Cup, Chipping Norton Town were not so lucky as they went down 4-0 to Adderbury Park, from the Banbury and District League.

Supplementary Cup – 1st Round
In the local cups, Division Four leaders, Charlbury Town Reserves picked up an impressive 3-2 win against Corinthians, from Division Three. Adam Major and Aidan Foard scored for the hosts but goals from Michael Hayes (2) and Shaun Godfrey settled the tie in favour of the visitors.

Premier Division
All the Premier Division action came from the wrong end of the table as far as all who were involved were concerned. Witney Royals recorded the result of the day as they defeated hosts Combe, 3-1. Angus Ibbotson scored for Combe but a brace from Ryan Colleton and a Jamie Kennedy strike was enough to earn all three points for Royals, who moved off the bottom of the table in the process.

Hailey picked up a much needed win after seeing off Ducklington 2-1, leap-frogging them in the process. Ian Steele and Michael Truby scored for the hosts with Dave Rabbich scoring for Duck, who dropped to third from bottom as a result.

Division One
Kirtlington moved back to the top of Division One, albeit having played two games more than their closest rivals Eynsham SSC. They earned their latest 3 points courtesy of an 8-0 mauling of North Leigh A. Goal machine Jake East was in fine form again, bagging a quartet of goals, with team mates, Nathan Kelly (2), Shane Probitts and Chrie Rae all adding to the tally.

Stonesfield moved 3 points clearer of the drop zone after defeating FC Hollybush 5-3. Brad Bryant, Jack Robinson and Steve Holder scored for the home side, however a hat trick from Paul Penny lead his side to a victory with Ed Gilkes and Lewis Stayte netting the other goals.

Brize Norton horrendous run of form continued and remain without a point after going down 4-0 to Chadlington. Steve Hunt (2), Warren Holland and Ashley Scearce all got on the score sheet. The defeat rings ominous bells for Brize who are seven points form safety, having played several more games than their fellow strugglers.

Division Two
Leaders, Carterton Town B suffered only their second league defeat of the season after going down 2-1 to a resolute Milton side. Jason Hirschfield netted for the hosts but Jim Littlewood and Leigh Hilary both found the back of the net for Milton.

Witney Wanderers early season form seems like a distant memory now as they went down 2-1 to Chipping Norton Town Reserves. Manuel Cortes and Matt Smith provided the winning goals for the hosts with Stu Morrison replying for Wanderers.

Hanborough Reserves were in fine form, handing out a 9-0 hammering to Moreton Rangers. Tom Olley scored twice as Aston Leach, Dan Smith, Reece Sales and Herbie Hamilton all notched in the rout.

Division Three
A successive relegation could be on the cards for bottom side FC Mills as they went down 6-2 to fellow strugglers, Bampton United Reserves. Stu Cutts and Rob DeBanks each netted for Mills, but it was far from enough as a hat trick a piece form Dan Paintin and Jake Pritchard sealed the win for Bampton with Mills, yet to record a point.

At the top, Eynsham A reclaimed pole position after a hard fought, 5-2 win over Wootton. Oli Page and Jordan Lyne each scored twice with Declan Green adding. Graham Berry and Rob Alexander replied in vain for Wootton.

Tower Hill Stars moved into third after a convincing 5-1 win over Middle Barton. Craig Mays grabbed a hat trick with Will Graham and Adam Townsend netting the others.

Division Four
Spartan Rangers A were on the wrong end of a 6-1 score line to Kingham AB Reserves. Matt Townsend scored for the hosts but goals from Eddie Webb (2), Jack Aitken, Alex Stringer, John Willoughby and Olly Peters settled the tie in favour of the visitors.

A single Chris Jordan goal was enough for Stonesfield Reserves to collect all three points in their 1-0 win over Wootton Reserves.
