Premier Division
The first whistle of 2013 blew, signalling Witney & District in 2013 was underway and a single strike from Jamie Kennedy signalled Witney Royals title intentions as they beat out-of-form Champions Hailey 1-0. Royals are now level on points at the top of the Premier Division with Hanborough.

At the bottom, Spartan Rangers beat relegation threatened Charlbury Town 2-0. Gavin Komenik and Dave Cross scored the goals.

Division One
Stanton Harcourt increased their lead at the top of Division One to seven points after they demolished FC Mills 7-0. Dan Taylor who bagged a four timer and Dan Smith who grabbed a hat trick did the damage.

Brize Norton’s first game in the New Year spelled good fortune as they beat high-flying Kingham AB 2-1. Matt Howard and Sean Rawlings scored the telling goals with Ashley Thornton replying. The win pulls them out of trouble at the bottom while Kingham missed the chance to move into second.

Chadlington beat Hailey Reserves 6-0 with George Slatter (2), Hordan Godfrey, Martin Plumbridge and Steve Hunt getting the goals. The defeat saw Hailey slip into the bottom three.

Division Two
Eynsham Sports lost ground at the top of Division Two after being held to a 1-1 draw by relegation fodder, Bampton Town. In what was seemingly a banker Eynsham, John Ayres scored for the home side with Adam Lee earning a point for the plucky visitors.

After a long wait, West Witney Reserves finally completed a fixture. They eased to a comfortable 2-0 win over Combe. Adam Grey and Mark Haydon with the goals.

The remaining four games provided four draws but plenty of goals. North Leigh B and Witney Wanderers were still in the giving spirit by shipping four goals apiece in their 4-4 draw. Wanderers lead at half time through Darryl John and Cesar Adenir, but goals from Nick Hunt, Lewis Hathaway, Craig Horne and Craig Greenhalgh turned the tie. However further goals Tom Gregory and Rogerio Pereira ensured both sides left with a point.

The points were also shared at Charlbury where the hosts drew 1-1 with Ducklington Reserves. Gary Jones and Dean O’Sullivan scored for Charlbury and Duck respectively.

It also ended 1-1 at Middle Barton where they played hosts to Milton. Jim Littlewood levelled for the visitors after Ashley Scearce had given Middle Barton the lead.

A point each was all hosts Witney Royals Reserves and Carterton Pumas took from their game as they fought out a rare 0-0 draw.

Division Three
With the leaders Hollybush out of action, Kirtlington were able to close the gap at the top to just one point. They won 2-0 against Wootton courtesy of strikes from Alex Metcalf and Adam Kelly.

Carterton Town B lost the chance to go top and dropped into third after they went down 3-2 to Minster Lovell Reserves. Ollie Bush and Lee Manning scored for Town but goals from Charlie Collins, Steven Burke and Apron Mullis gave the hosts all three points.

Carterton Rangers are only just off the pace in fourth after beating Freeland B 6-1. Tom Forkner scored for the hosts but a hat trick from Ben Pearce, two from Dan Hall and one from Andrew stone put the result beyond doubt.

At the other end of the table, Aston Reserves took a point from their game at fellow relegation battlers Tackley, and moved off of bottom spot courtesy of a 4-4 draw. Chris Betreen, Kyle Defraitis and Dan Woodley were amongst the goals for the hosts with Phil Isle, Brendan Chalk, Chris Poulson and Ben Waldron hitting back for Aston.

Division Four
Division Four is reliably the place for goals this season with three games producing no less than 21 goals. Scott Mason hit a hat trick in Ducklington A’s 6-0 thrashing of Kingham AB Reserves. Arrun Clitton (2) and Josh Hartley added the others.

Corinthians demolished Chadlington Reserves 8-1 sharing the goals amongst Darren Mobey (2), Frank Webb (2), Jim Cairns, Dan Killick, Bob Truman and Graham Cuidiskis. James Cleevely replied in vain for Chad.

Bampton United’s Nathan Harris bagged a four goal haul in 15 minutes against visitors FC Hollybush Reserves. Joe Hatt scored twice for the visitors including one penalty, but the hosts held firm to secure the 4-2 win.
