Junior Shield
FC Nomads cup run came to an end after a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wroxton Heath, despite Chris Lawrence’s goal.

Bampton Town were also knocked out after going down 2-0 to St Clements.

Fred Ford Cup

Tony McLeman bagged a 4-timer in West Witney’s 10-0 trouncing of Carterton Pumas. The hosts were out of sight by half time with further goals from Harry Trethowan (2) Ian Sparkes (2), Dan King and Carl Dodds.

Charlbury Town put aside their poor league form to send Witney Royals tumbling out of the cup. It took extra time but Sean Gilbert, Ryan Healing and Craig McCallum scored the goals which sent Charlbury though to the next round, despite strikes from Steve Brasier and Matt Thompson running the hosts close.

Chipping Norton saw off Carterton A in a 3-1 win. James Harri, Warwick Thompkins and Ady Bowerman turned the tie around after Chris Zoldan had given the visitors the lead.

Carterton Rangers narrowly edged out Ducklington 5-4 in their encounter. Stefan Reed scored a hat trick for the hosts, with Craig Williams getting the other two. Ben Hutter (2) hit back for the visitors, with further goals from Lee Moseley and Damien Tolley but it was not enough.

Premier Division
Reigning Champions Hailey’s indifferent form benefitted from a 3-0 win over Spartan Rangers. Joey King, Jack Bennet and Dean Mays scored the goals.

Bottom side North Leigh A are still searching for their first win of the season after going down 5-1 to Hanborough. Nick Hunt scored for the hosts but goals from Aston Leach (2), Dan Haggie, John Sutton and Tom Lewis sealed the tie.

Division One
Stanton Harcourt moved 4 points clear at the top of Division One after a close 4-3 win over Brize Norton. In this closely fought match, Brize scored through Pawel Bronk (2)and Gerard Morgan, but goals from Andy Jackson, Tom Bennington, George Woodcock and Dan Smith secured all three points for the hosts.

Goal-machine Mo Semlali bagged another 2 in Hailey Reserves 6-0 thrashing of FC Mills. Dan Davis, John Andrews, Tom Gonzales and Stu Morrison also all got in on the act.

The points were shared at Hanborough as Boro’ Reserves played out a 2-2 draw with Chadlington. Scott Akers and Ross Harrington scored for the hosts with Kevin Mulhearn and Dan Murphy netting for Chad.

Freeland A remain rooted to the foot of the table after narrowly losing out to Kingham AB, 3-2. Dan Davies put the visitors 2-0 by the break, only for Ady Williams and Andy Bell to bring the hosts back into it. However the points went to Kingham as Davies completed his hat trick in the second half.

Division Two
Eynsham moved clear at the top of Division Two after a convincing 3-0 win over Ducklington Reserves. Max Leach, Matt Walker and Mike Barker all scored for the hosts.

Witney Wandered moved out of the bottom 3 with an impressive 3-1 win over Milton. Harry Lake scored for the visitors but goals from Jamie Jackson, Cesar Adenir and Tom Gregory gifted the hosts a much-needed win.

Hosts Combe saw off Witney Royals Reserves 4-2 with goals from Simon Gale, George May, Rob Edington and John Umney. Dan Paintin and Mikey Piper replied in vain for Royals.

Middle Barton and North Leigh B shared the points after a 2-2 draw. Ryan Bower and Andy Claridge had given North Leigh the lead. Jack Fowler replied for the hosts with Paul Tanner equalising with virtually the last kick of the match.

Division Three
FC Hollybush remain top as they continued their perfect start to the season with a 4-1 win over Wootton. Paul Dray bagged another two goals for the club with Joe Hatt and Leigh Travers adding. Arrun Bowerman got one back for the visitors.

Carterton B stay second after a 3-1 win over Tackley. Adam Harris (2) and Mark Hawkins scored the winning goals with Chris Betreen getting one back for Tackley.

Third placed Kirtlington demolished Spartan Rangers Reserves 9-0 with Shane Probitts getting a hat trick. Anthony Brooker (2), Nathan Kelly, Andy Gillespie, Sam Faria and Steve Foreman completed the rout.

A single goal from Ollie Puddle was enough to earn Brize Norton Reserves a 1-0 win over Chipping Norton Reserves.

Division Four
Milton Reserves pulled themselves out of the bottom two for the first time this season after a 3-2 win over Spartan Rangers A. James Mack and a Sam Austin own goal had put the visitors in contention, but a brace from Joe Bartlett and a Martin Kabrhel strike ensured Milton took all three points.

Bampton United continued their good form by beating Chadlington Reserves 4-0. Ben Little, Gary Mitchell, Hayden Boot and Nathan Beckett all got on the score sheet.

Darren Mobey was on the mark twice as Corinthians saw off Witney Royals A 4-0. Frank Webb and Matt Walkers completed the score line.

FC Hollybush Reserves exacted revenge over Eynsham SSC Reserves for their defeat earlier in the season, edging a 2-1 win over their hosts. Dean Spivey gave Hollybush the lead, but Lee Parsons levelled the tie soon after. However, Paul Hays was in the right place to guide home a John Bignell corner, in the second half, giving the visitors the win.

Wychwood Forresters and Kingham AB Reserves had to settle for a point each as they drew 1-1. Scott Reid got on the score sheet for the hosts after Rob Collard had given the visitors the lead.
