Premier Division
The Witney & District Football League kicked off its 2013/2014 campaign with a truncated fixture list on Saturday.

With only two games being played in the Premier Division it was up to reigning champions West Witney to take the headlines. However, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Carterton A in a well contested match. Carterton controlled the first half and looked the better side as they took the lead courtesy of a Mike Bolt goal. They then nearly doubled the lead with a thunderbolt free kick which was saved well by West Witney keeper Kevin Trethowan. West Witney returned fire after the break with an Ian Sparkes strike to level the tie and take a point each.

Chipping Norton Town beat newly promoted Aston 3-0. Keiran Watts, Warwick Thompkins and Gary Smith scored the goals for the home side.
