OFA Charity Cup
Witney Royals run in the OFA charity Cup came to a premature end as they lost 2-1 to Marston Saints. Jamie Timms scored Royals only goal.

Jack Busby Cup
Ducklington smashed a hapless Eynsham SSC Reserves 12-0 in their Jack Busby first round tie. Frank Clarke scored a four-timer with Ian Luckett grabbing a hat trick. John Clarke, Dean O’Sullivan, Pete Long and Dave Duggan all added to the final score line.

Matt Howard stole the show for Brize Norton Reserves with a 5 goal haul as they thrashed FC Mills Reserves 11-3. Huw Neyroud (2), and Dan Moore scored for the hosts, but further goals from Rob Hook (2), Paul Morrison, Liam O’Brien, Sean Rawlings and Chris King completed the rout.

Minster Lovell Reserves beat West Witney Reserves 5-0 with Ryan Maskery (2), Mykel Ryan, Ben Hewer and Liam Crawford all finding the back of the net.

FC Chequers Reserves returned to Kingham AB Reserves but this time returned victorious after seeing off the hosts 5-0. In a match, which was well reffed by Kevin Crouch, Adam Izzard scored twice with Richard Eastaff, Scott Tompson and in-form Tom Gonzales adding the others.

Reece Townsend scored for Chipping Norton Town Reserves as they were defeated 5-1 by Hanborough Reserves. Ryan Sollis, Martin Keylock, Aaron Hobley, Mark Stinchcombe and Pete Andrews all scored a goal a piece.

Aston Reserves edged a tight match against Wychwood Forest Reserves 3-2. Tim Green scored twice with Andy How grabbing the winner. Chris Read and Kevin Webb notched for Forest.

It took extra time to separate Spartan Rangers Reserves and Witney Royals Reserves as the teams reached 90 minutes at 2-2. Neil Jackson and Lewis State scoring for Spartan with Dan Hall grabbing both for Royals. Jackson hit his second and Spartans winner in extra time earning them a 3-2 win and passage to the next round.

Charlbury Town Reserves and Hailey Reserves also took their game to extra time, with the visitors emerging victorious. Mark Dellar scored for the hosts with Josh Lock and Ford Davis giving Hailey the 2-1 win.

Premier Division
Combe continue their great run in the Premier Division courtesy of a narrow 4-3 in over Minster Lovell. Josh Posey (2), and Matt Baker scored for Combe with Ed Dunn (2) scoring for Minster. However, Patch Gardener’s own goal was cancelled out by Chris Smith, who scored an O.G. of his own.

Ducklington bounced back from last weeks defeat to Combe with a 3-2 win over Wychwood Forest. Mike Duerden on his debut, after a brief spell at Mills, and John Smales with his first touch, scored for the visitors, but Jordan Cormack (2), and Ian Peedell scored for the hosts, keeping them in top spot.

Reigning Champions Hailey have yet to find top gear, dropping yet more points, against AC Finstock. However they had to come back from 3-1 down at half time to earn a 3-3 draw. Jason Blackmore (2) and Chris Thomas scored for Finstock with Wayne Forest (2) and Joe Fullerton levelling the tie for the hosts.

Richard Rouse (2), and James Lloyd scored for Hanborough in their 3-2 win over Spartan Rangers. Matt Townsend scored Spartans only goal.

Division One
FC Chequers retained their familiar top spot after a convincing 4-1 win over FC Mills. Arron Hyatt grabbed the goal for Mills, but strikes for Mo Semlali, Dan Harwood, Ryan Hewer and Marcus Tonwsend put the game beyond doubt.

West Witney stay hot on the heels of Chequers after an impressive 6-1 mauling of Witney Wanderers. Dave Cooper scored twice with Chris Beechey, Steve Morgan, Tony McLeman and Jamie MacDonough all adding. Hardeep Banwait scored for Wanderers.

FC Nomads went down 3-0 to Aston for whom Dan Isherwood, Mike Barker and Ry Hardy all scored.

North Leigh A took all three points against Chipping Norton with a 3-0 win. Jason Lonsdale (2) and Sam Docherty on target.

Brize Norton went down 4-1 to Chad Park. Chris hunt scored for Brize but George Slatter scored a brace for Chad, adding to goals from Tim Allen and Josh Vaughan.

Division Two
Middle Barton dropped their first points of the season after being held to a 1-1 at Wootton. Ian Jarvis looked to have sealed the win for the hosts until an early strike in the second half from Martin Kay brought parity to the score line.

Southrop’s tenure at the rise may be in some doubt, but their performance on the pitch is not. Put in an excellent second half performance against Two Rivers to win the game 4-2. Lee Butler and Pawel Kulczyk scored for the visitors but a brace each for Southrop stalwarts, Shane Imms and Simon Williams earned all three points.

Milton beat Ducklington A 6-5 in a scintillating match. Milton were ahead at the break, 6-3 through goals from Jason Bufton (2), graham Benfield (2), Phil Benfield and Jim Littlewood. Ducklington hit back through Mark Hawkins (2), dave Baker, Ross Clarkson and Will graham but it was not quite enough.

Division Three
Freeland A faced many of their old team mates as they beat Eynsham SSC 3-1, earning the bragging rights. Ashley Bowerman gave the visitors the lead in the first half, before Neil Swann (2) and Sam Burton hit back for Freeland.

North Leigh B saw off the challenge from Witney Royals A, beating them 4-1. Harry Adams, Lewis Hathaway, Aaron Clibbon and an Alan Kennedy own goal completed the score line. Adam Hicks smashed in Royals only reply.

Division Four
Steve Foreman scored a fantastic four-timer in AFC Marlborough’s 80 walloping of Spartan Rangers A. Mark Luke weighed in with a hat trick with Tom Wilson scoring the other.

Karl Indge was on the score sheet for Corinthians in their 4-1 defeat to FC Hollybush. Dan Smith helped himself to a hat trick with Dan Knight settling the tie.

The point were shared at Duklington B where the hosts drew 2-2 with Freeland B. Jordan Saverton, and Nathan Harris scored for Duck with Jason Foottit and Tom Forkner replying for Freeland.
