Current State of Play

Here is where we are

Premier Division
West Witney are odds on favourites to lift the Premier Division title. They need 3 points from their remaining couple of games and can clinch the title by beating Charlbury on Wednesday night.
Hanborough, Carterton, Chippy and Hailey are competing for the 3 remaining Charity Cup Spots.
At the foot of the table North Leigh appear doomed and need to win their last 3 games to have any hope of staying up. A point for Ducklington in their last 4 games will ensure their survival so it is probably a fight between Charlbury and Spartan for the 2nd relegation spot.

Division 1
4 teams can still win the title and get promoted from Division 1. Minster Lovell are in the driving seat realistically needing 6 points to ensure a return to the Premier Division. Aston have faltered recently but probably need 10 points from their last 5 games to go up. Stanton Harcourt and Chadlington, who will play each other in the Junior Cup Final, will be hoping the other two teams slip up.
After flirting with the drop for a few seasons, FC Mills are guaranteed to finish bottom. They will be joined by either Hanborough Res or Freeland A. A win for Freeland in either of their final 2 games will see them safe.

Division 2
The top of the division is a pretty straight-forward affair, Carteton Pumas need a point for promotion and 3 for the title from the last 4 games. Second placed Eynsham also need a win to ensure their promotion. West Witney Res need to win their last 5 games to pip either of the these.
The situation at the foot is as clear as a pint of 12% scrumpy. Charlbury Res are down but who will join them is still in the air. All from 2nd bottom Witney Wanderers up to 6th place Combe are in the mix and with all having at least 3 games to play it is still up for grabs.

Division 3
Just as Division , 1 it is 2 from 4 in Division 3 with Hollybush and Carterton Rangers appearing to be favourites. Hollybush need 2 wins from their last 4 games to be certain of going up whilst Rangers have 5 to play. The two sides meet in a potential title decider on Wednesday and still have to play each other again before the end of the season. Kirtlington probably have to win their last 3 games and hope the other 2 drop enough points. For Carterton B to go up, 3 points and a prayer mat are needed.
At the foot of the table, Aston Res and Spartan Res are guaranteed to finish in the bottom two spots.

Division 4
Bourton Rovers and Bampton Utd are both almost certain to be promoted from Division 4, With Bourton strong favourites to be champions. Bampton have a 2 point lead at the top but, Bourton have 3 games in hand so should comfortably win the title at the first time of asking. Ducklington A can only win their remaining 3 games and hope the others slip up.
The dubious honour of the bottom spot looks likely to go to Chadlington Res unless they can win both of their last 2 fixtures
