Bourton Rovers cause upset

Division 2 Bourton Rovers upset the odds by defeating Division 1 champions Aston 3-2 to lift the Watts Junior Cup.
Bourton started the better and nearly scored after 10 mins through Lee Mosson, but Ashkley Edwards in the Aston did well to block his shot. Bourton kept pressurising and deservedly took the lead when Adam Webley scored from 20 yards to make it 1-0 at half time.
The 2nd half was much the same and Bourton should of scored more through Toby Crammen and Kevin Hunt, they eventually got their 2nd on 65 mins when sub Alex Winter scored from 6 yards after good work from Mosson.
Aston came into the game now and scored through Ryan Colleton with 7 mins remaining and they levelled with 2 mins left after a poor goal kick from Hunt.
Bourton players were dropping like flies in extra time, the entire back 4 was totally different from the starting back 4.
But they held firm and after soaking up the pressure for 10 mins they broke away and scored when Winter headed home for his 2nd in the 100th minute after a superb cross from Josh Hubbard.
It was all Aston for the remainder of extra time but Bourton's make shift defence of Ben Mcphilimey, Danny Way, Matt Winter and Alex Lopian held firm against intense pressure.
