Fred Ford Cup
Premier Division Witney Royals made light work of FC Nomads from Division One. Chris Catchpole(2), Matt Thompson, Dean Treadwell, Jack Kennedy and Steve Brasier were all on target.

Carterton Pumas of Division 3 took the notable scalp of Bampton Town from Division 2. Pumas blitzed the hosts 7-2 with Dave Wanless bagging himself a five-timer. Dean Matthews and Keiron Lace got the others. Gareth Edwards and Dan Cartwright’s goals were scant consolation.

Despite being separated by 8 places in the Premier League, it took penalties to separate Hanborough and Charlbury Town in the cup with the result a contradiction to their league places. Dan Haggie gave the hosts a 1-0 half time lead but Craig McCallum levelled the tie in the second half. Extra time produced no further goals and it was Charlbury Town who held their nerve to win the shoot-out 4-3.

FC Hollybush edged through against Wychwood Forest 2-1 with Dean Spivey and Ed Brookes getting the goals. Dan Harwood replied for the Forresters.

Adrian Williams scored two in Freeland A’s 2-0 win over Milton.

Eynsham breezed past Wootton courtesy of a 5-0 score line. John Ayres scored twice with Jon Hall, Chris Leach and Matt Walker adding.

Sam Philpotts scored a hat trick in Kingham AB’s 4-1 win over Graystones. Clayton Foster scored for the hosts with Daryl Middleton getting the fourth for Kingham.

Ducklington beat FC Chequers 2-0 with Craig Mays and Richard Proctor getting the goals.

It took extra time and penalties to separate West Witney and Brize Norton after drawing 2-2 at full time. Carl Dodds scored the goals for the hosts with Chris Hunt and Matt Howard netting for Brize, however Brize edged the penalty shoot-out 4-2.

Matt Baker’s brace for Combe wasn’t enough as they went down 4-2 to Hailey. Mark Wright (2), Joel King and Danny King scored the winning goals for the visitors.

Darren Mobey and Martin Bellforth scored for Corinthians as they went down 5-2 to Chipping Norton. Warwick Thompkins scored a hat trick for the visitors with Mark Corbett and Aaron Witham adding.

AFC Marlborough went to the next round after a 4-0 win over Aston. Andy Gillespie (2), Nathan Kelly and Darryl Collins scored the telling goals.

Dan Smith and Ben Pearce scored for Carterton Rangers in their 2-0 win over Witney Wanderers.

Minster Lovell saw off FC Mills in their 4-2 extra time win. Edd Dunn scored two with Martin Bull and Leo Haines getting the others. Alex Dyakowski and Tim Senior scored for Mills.

Division One
Witney Royals Reserves saw off Ducklington Reserves1-0 with Luke Rippington getting the games only goal.

Division Two
FC Chequers Reserves moved into top spot after an 8-1 win over Brize Norton Reserves. Tom Gonzales scored a hat trick as did Zac Caine, including a spectacular 20 yard overhead kick. Doug Mulvihill and a Brize own goal completed the rout. Rob Brown replied for Brize.

Charlbury Town edged out Ducklington A in a 4-3 win over the visitors. Mark Goodey scored 3 with Sam Cleaver netting the other. Harvey Butler, Luke Glaister and Will Graham scored for Duck.

Division Three
Chipping Norton Reserves picked up their first points of the season with a 5-0 win over Aston Reserves. Dan Hemming scored 3 with Justin Manghan and Ryan Green getting the others.

Spartan Rangers Reserves and West Witney Reserves drew 1-1 with Matt Townsend and Mark Haydon scoring for Spartan and West Witney respectively.

The points were also shared at Kingham AB Reserves where the hosts drew 2-2 with Minster Lovell Reserves. Sean Case and Michael Hayes scored for Kingham with Adam Bennett and David Such replying for Minster.

Witney Royals A went down 4-1 to North Leigh B with Craig Horne (2), Tom Townsend and Pawel Bronk getting the goals. Ian Hayes replied in vain for the hosts.

Division Four
Carterton B showed Premier Division class as they beat Ducklington B 10-0. John Smales and Ollie Bish each bagged a brace with Dave Anstee, Chris Jordan, Leigh manning and Luke Simmonds adding.

FC Mills Reserves recorded back to back wins with a 2-0 victory over Combe Reserves. Kevin Lloyd and Dan Moore scored the winning goals.

Freeland B remain joint top after a 3-1 win over Spartan Rangers A. Joe Wadeson scored for the hosts but Tom Mason (2) and Jason Foottit got the winning goals for Freeland.
