Fred Ford Cup 1st Round

North Leigh made light work of despatching Eynsham from the Fred Ford Cup as Darren Tasker helped himself to a hat trick. Lee Moseley (2), Sam Duthrie, Lewis Hathaway, Lloyd Lewis and Jason Lonsdale all also found the back of the net.

Brize Norton and FC Hollybush took each other to extra time after drawing 4-4 after 90 minutes. Mark Jewell grabbed a brace with Craig Sallis and Gerard Morgan scoring within the 90. Simon Cook and Mark Hedges scored Brize’s goals in extra time giving Brize the 6-4 win.

FC Nomads went down 2-0 to Freeland A. Steve Carvey scored on his debut with Adrian Williams adding.

Jack Busby Cup 1st Round
David Weetman (2), Nick Buckingham, Stuart Morrison and Charlie Winstone all got on the score sheet after Hailey Reserves 5-1 win over North Leigh B. Wayne Reynolds scored for the hosts.

Freeland B went down 3-1 to Charlbury Town Reserves. Carl Siford struck twice and Ashley Smith added the third after Adam Longford scored in the first half for Freeland.

Premier Division
Ducklington move 3 points clear at the top after beating Hanborough 3-1. Jack Morton bagged a brace with Darren Harris adding. Ducklington’s Dan Walker scored an own goal which was the only thing Hanborough took from the match.

Matt Smith scored a hat trick in Kingham’s 5-2 win over AC Finstock. Darryl Middleton and Matt Lane added the others after Jason Blackman and Chris Thomas netted for Finstock.

Hailey beat Charlbury Town 4-2 with goals from John Andrew (2), Ryan Pratley and Wayne Forest. Matt Holloway and Steven Knight replied for Charlbury.

Craig Isle scored for Wychwood Forest in their 2-1 defeat by Combe. Vinnie Snell and Matt Baker scored the telling goals.

Minster Lovell and Spartan Rangers played out a 0-0 draw at Wash Meadow.

Division One
West Witney moved into second place courtesy of a Dave Cooper hat trick and a Steven Read double. They beat Chipping Norton Town 5-2. Andy Watson and Jordan Newman replied for Chippy.

A single Dan Harwood goal was again enough to take all 3 points for FC Chequers as they beat Hanborough Reserves 1-0.

Mike Duerden scored a hat trick on his debut for FC Mills as they beat Aston 4-3. Rob DeBanks grabbed the other as Ryan Harding (2) and Sam Ockwell hit back for the visitors.

Hosts Witney Wanderers were beaten 3-0 by Chad Park with George Slatter (2) and Tom Clevely getting on the score sheet.

Division Two
Southrop turned their goal deficit into a positive and picked up their first win of the season with an impressive 7-0 thrashing of Wootton. Graham Cuidiskis and Dan Collins each scored twice with Ryan Moore, Simon Williams and Shane Imms adding.

Witney Royals bounced back from last weeks defeat with a 5-1 mauling of Spartan Rangers Reserves. Dean Price (2), Dean Tredwell, Neil Barrett and Mikey Piper scored for the hosts with Ben Lucas replying for Spartan.
