OFA Junior Shield
Mark Jewell scored Brize Norton’s only goal in their 5-1 defeat to Hailey.
Joe Fullerton scored twice with Joel King, Harry Trethowan and Alex Bolt grabbing the others.

Combe held out for 90 minutes against Cowley Crusaders before going down to a single goal in extra time in their 1-0 defeat.

FRED FORD CUP QUARTER FINAL KO 1330 ET AND PENS

Spartan Rangers and Hanborough had to be separated by spot kicks after finishing 2-2 in their Fred Ford tie. Matt Townsend scored two with James Clarke adding another for the hosts with Tom Lewis (2), and Liam Harris replying. Townsend also grabbed the winning penalty as Spartan held their nerve to win 5-4 on pens.

Steve Hunt and George Slatter were on target for Chad Park in their 2-1 win over Wychwood Forest. Mike Duerden replied for the visitors.

PREMIER DIVISION

In the days only Premier Division game, AC Finstock came from a goal down to beat Witney Royals 2-1. Jack Kennedy had given the hosts the lead but goals from Ryan Bowers and Brendan Kearns reversed the score line.

DIVISION ONE

Three games survived the rain in Division one. At the top, West Witney moved into second after a 7-1 demolition of Hanborough Reserves. Nick Dawood grabbed a hat trick as Gary Thomas, Mark haydon, Jamie McDonough and Tony McLeman all scored. Josh Townsend scored Hanborough’s consolation.

Chipping Norton only managed a 1-0 win over basement boys FC Mills, but it was enough to take them into 5th place. Veteran striker Andy Watson came off the bench to earn the win with a magnificent solo goal.

Ducklington Reserves shared the points as they played out a 2-2 draw with FC Nomads. Goals from Darren Craig and Steve Bircher had given the visitors the lead but Duck struck back through Luke Champion and Jake Wilbur Souch.

DIVISION TWO
Martin Cripps scored both goals in Stanton Harcourts 2-1 win over Hailey Reserves. Stu Morrison replied for the visitors.

Bartek Lachwicz, Pavel Bronk and Martin Bungay each bagged a brace in Two Rivers 6-4 win over Wootton. Tom Williams (2), Jack Morton and Russell Bracey scored the goals for Wootton.

Mark Dellar grabbed himself a hat trick in Charlbury Town Reserves 4-1 win over Spartan Rangers Reserves. John Clarke scored for the visitors, but Carl Siford netted another for the hosts.

Middle Barton and Southrop had to settle for a point a piece after their 2-2 draw. Nick Pickup and James Hawkins scored a brace for Barton and Southrop respectively.

Ducklington A retained second after an impressive 5-1 win over Brize Norton Reserves. Will Graam scored twice as Jason Hirschfield, Dave Duggan and Mark Hawkins all added. Rob Hook scored Brize’s only goal.

DIVISION THREE
Witney Royals A looked set to take a well-earned point in their game against table toppers West Witney. The hosts were 2-0 up by half time thanks to two strikes from Jack Simpson. However, hard work and craft from Royals resulted in Loyd Edwards netting his 1002nd goal for the club, followed by an equaliser from Russ Plumb. However, a reckless injury time challenge from Anthony Barlow on Simpson gifted West Witney a penalty and a 3-2 win after Darren Aston duly obliged from the spot.

On the neighbouring pitch, there was no such nail-biter as North Leigh B demolished FC Mills 10-0. Lewis Hathaway lea the scoring with a hat trick, with Darren Tasker netting a brace. Jamie Buxton, Harry Adams, Justin Timms, Craig Horne and Lee Mosley also found the net.

There was a hat trick for Ryan Maskery in Minster Lovell Reserves 4-1 win over Tackley. The hosts scored though Paul Gray, but Pete Hanley added to Maskerys three to complete the rout.

John Ayres and Greg Seeney scored for Eynsham SSC in their 2-1 win over Aston Reserves. Paul Herbert replied for the visitors.

Freeland A recorded only their second defeat of the season, going down 3-1 to Kingham AB Reserves. Liam Barnes scored twice with Gareth Price adding. Ryan Inch replied for Freeland.

DIVISION FOUR
Carterton Pumas got back to winning ways with a 5-3 win over Eynsham A. Keiron Lace scored two with Dan Chillington grabbing a hat trick. Jon Room, Jamie Merryl and Dan Hill scored for Eynsham.

Freeland B went down 3-0 to FC Hollybus. Gary Brooks (2), and Dan Smith scored the goals.
Eynsham SSC Reserves lost 4-0 to Spartan Rangers A. Ben Allen and Tom Merchant scored a brace each.

Corinthians lost 5-1 to Wychwood Forest Reserves with James Leverton getting their only goal. John Smales (2), John Smith, and Matt Herbert were amongst the goals for Wychwood.
