Jack Busby Cup
FC Mills Reserves provided the shock of the round we the Division 4 side beat Charlbury Town Reserves from Division 2. Keiron Durrant and Tyrone Smith scored the goals that sent Mills through with Mark Deller replying.

Division Two leaders FC Chequers Reserves knocked out Ducklington Reserves from the division above. Zac Cain and Richie Eastaff contributed with a thunderbolt strike each.

Freeland B from Division 4 saw off Kingham AB Reserves from Division 3, 3-2. James Berry, Ben James and Keith Norton scored for the visitors with Michael Hayes grabbing two for the hosts.

Chris Mason, Mikey Roberts and Dom Hemmings each scored for Chipping Norton Reserves but it was not enough as Justin Timms and Lewis Hathaway each bagged a brace for North Leigh B in their 4-3 win.

Tom Weedon scored a hat trick in Hanborough Reserves 7-0 win over Minster Lovell Reserves. Joey Burgess (2), Pete Andres and Ryan Sollis got the others.

Aston Reserves were knocked out by the hands of Hailey Reserves in a match that ended 4-3. Matt Gardner (2) and Matt Butt scored for the hosts but goals from Stu Morrison (2), Nick Buckingham and Will Griffiths saw the visitors through.

West Witney Reserves eased through to the second round after a 4-1 win over Spartan Rangers Reserves. Gary Smith scored twice in the win with Jack Simpson and Murray Cox getting the others. Simon Winstone scored for Spartan.

Witney Royals Res saw off Combe with ease in a 7-0 drubbing. Mork Cluely scored a hat trick with Luke Rippington getting two. Joe Crosby and Chris Coggins completed the rout.

Premier Division
There were no upsets as top met bottom in the Hailey, Charlbury Town game. The hosts and leaders emerged victorious winning 6-2. Joey King scored a hat trick as Dean Mays (2) and Sean King sealed the win. Craig McCallum and Sean Gilbert replied for Town.

A single Will Potter goal was enough for Hanborough as they beat Combe 1-0.

Kingham AB picked up their first point of the season, in their 2-2 draw with Spartan Rangers. Matt Smith scored both Kingham’s goals with Matt Sweirgon and Dave Cross equalising for Spartan.

Witney Royals consigned FC Chequers to thir first ever Premier Division defeat in a match they won 4-1. Jamie Kennedy scored twice with Matt Thompson and Tom Kempster getting the others.

North Leigh A beat Carterton A 2-1 with Jason Lonsdale and Lee Mosely getting the goals. Dan Sollis scored for the visitors.

Division One
AC Finstock upset Chipping Norton’s title charge as they inflicted the leaders first defeat of the season. Gary McKinnon (2), Sam Bowers (2), and Ryan Bowers all scored in the impressive 5-3 win . Warwick Thompkins, Martin Corbett and James Harri replied in vain for Chippy.

Minster Lovell went down 3-1 to Brize Norton. Craig Sallis scored for the Minster, but goals from Matt Howard, Steve Marshall and Pat Crowley sealed the tie.

Stanton Harcourt picked up a good 3 points with a 4-0 win over Aston. Martin Cripps scored a hat trick with Chris Townsend getting the other.

The points were shared as FC Mills and FC Nomads drew 2-2. Keith Lonsdale and Phil Turner scored for Mills with Josh Truby and Chris Lawrence netting for Nomads.

Division Two

Freeland A narrowed the gap on the leaders FC Chequers with a 4-1 win over Bampton. The goals came from Jamie Perkins, Ben Crawford, Adrian Williams and Marc Buckingham with Roger Prior netting for Bampton.

Rob James scored for Milton in his sides 1-0 win over Witney Wanderers.

Wootton edged past Middle Barton 2-1 as Arrun Bowerman and Tom Williams gave them the lead. Ashley Scearce scored for the visitors.

Division Three
Kyle Drummond’s lone strike turned out to be the match winner in the second half as Carterton Pumas saw off FC Hollybush 1-0.

Matt Walker scored two including a penalty in Eynsham SSC’s 6-0 thrashing of Tackley. John Ayres also scored twice with Lewis Clarke and Dan Clifford getting the others.

AFC Marlborough beat Witney Royals 3-1. Mikey Piper scored for Royals in the first half but goals from Steve Foreman, Lewis Charlette and Nathan Lawes secured the points for Boro’.

Division Four
Both Carterton sides remain unbeaten and continue to blaze a trail at the top of Division Four. Carterton FC B retain top spot after a comfortable 4-0 win over Wychwood Foresters. Chris Jones, Chris Reed, John Smales and Lee Manning scored the goals.

Carterton Rangers had a field day against Spartan Rangers A winning 7-0. Tom Clapham scored a hat trick, with Dan Smith (2), Craig Williams and Kevin Buckingham getting the others.

Greystones and Corinthians had to settle for a point each as they drew 3-3. Gary Smith (2) and Chris Barnard scored for the hosts with Frank Webb (2) and Karl Indge scoring for visitng Corinthians.
