PREMIER DIVISION
‘King Kennedy Royal Rout’
Jamie Kennedy smashed in four goals in Witney Royals 6-2 win over Minster Lovell. Cody Davies had given Minster a shock 2-0 lead, but his was short-lived as Royals began the comeback. Younger brother Jack Kennedy added a 5th after Ryan Colleton’s earlier strike.

Mike Duerden and Jason Trinder put a dent in Ducklington’s title hopes courtesy of a 2-1 win over the visitors. Jordan Cormak’s first half strike was not enough.

Matt Smith scored Kingham’s only goal in their 5-1 defeat to Hailey. Alex Bolt (2), Joel King (2) and Joe Fullerton scored the telling goals for Hailey.

DIVISION ONE
FC Chequers suffered a rare successive defeat in Division one as they fell to promotion rivals Chad Park who moved into top spot after beating the hosts 2-1. Dan Harwood gave Chequers the lead but a goal a piece from Tom Cleevely and Mark Sheffield reversed the score line and gave Chad all three points.

Kevin Alcraft helped himself to a hat trick in Aston’s 4-1 win over FC Mills. Phil Caswell added a fourth with Tom Rogers scoring Mills’ consolation goal.

Hanborough gained a well-earned point in their 2-2 draw against promotion hopefuls North Leigh A. Craig Johnston scored either side of half time for the hosts with Justin Timms and Lloyd Lewis netting for North Leigh.

DIVISION TWO
Stanton Harcourt moved into second place as they leap-frogged their opponents in a 4-1 win over Witney Royals Reserves. Billy Jones, Ben Calcutt and Tom Gerken all scored, with Adam Hicks also netting against his old side. Dean Treadwell replied in vain for Royals.

Spartan Rangers Reserves picked up valuable 3 points in their battle against relegation as they beat hosts and fellow strugglers Wootton 2-1, drawling level on points in the process. Tom Williams scored for Wootton but goals from Steve Jenkins and Rory Dunseath settled the tie.

Simon Williams (2), Ryan Moore and Bradley Bridgewater were all on target in Southrop’s 4-1 win over bottom side, Hailey Reserves for whom Chris Gunter scored.

Two Rivers banged in another handful of goals, this week, Milton were the unlucky recipients of a 6-1 thrashing. Ian Francis, Pawel Bronk, Bartek Lachweicz, Pawel Culczyk, Martin Bungay and Justin Elford all scored with James Beaney grabbing Milton’s solitary goal.

The points were shared at Middle Barton as the hosts drew 3-3 with Ducklington A. Paul Tanner, martin Kay and Ashley Scearce scored for the hosts with Mark Hawkins (2) and Jason Hirschfield netting for Duck.

DIVISION THREE
Adrian Williams bagged a brace in Freeland’s 7-1 win over Kingham Reserves. Ryan Inch, Neil Swann, Darius Hodaei, Sam Burton and Ethan Simlett scored the others with Kingham’s only consolation an own goal.

John Ayres scored again for Eynsham SSC but couldn’t stop his side going down 3-1 to a resurgent FC Chequers Reserves. Dave Webb levelled the tie with super sub Doug Mulvihill netting twice after coming on from the bench.

Witney Royals A upset yet another promotion contender as they held West Witney Reserves to a 4-4 draw in an thrilling match. The hosts took a surprise lead through Andy Cross, but two quick strikes from Jamie Goodwin turned the game before Loyd Edwards again levelled the tie before the break. Goals from Adam Bolley and Sam Wheeler seemed to have stolen the points for the visitors before Mat Clarke’s last minute equaliser for the hosts brought parity to the score line.

Tackley went down 2-0 to Chipping Norton Reserves. Mark Clifton and Jordan Newman scored the goals.

DIVISION FOUR
Ben Allen and Tom Merchant scored the goals for Spartan Rangers A in their 5-2 defeat to FC Hollybush. Stu Phillips and Ally Laing each grabbed two with Eddie Brookes netting the 5th.

It was also 5-2 in the other match in Division four, with Wychwood Forest Reserves getting the better Ducklington B. Chris Jones (2), Jon Smales, Adam Harris and Kevin Webb scored the goals for the victors with Nathan Haggis and James Mazzucca scoring for Duck.
