As I am sure you all know the 2019 / 2020 season has come to an abrupt end and the FA have advised all leagues that their season must end with immediate effect. The WDFA Management Committee has sadly therefore decided we have no choice but to null the season. We accept this is particularly harsh on some clubs, but believe, sadly, that it is the only thing we can do. This includes all WDFA cup competitions. Applications for next season will be going out in the next couple of weeks. And when we are finally able to meet and discuss next season's league set up we will be taking into account league positions when this season closed. Additionally we have decided that no existing teams will pay any entrance fees next season, but any new teams will pay the full amount. So, for example, should Ducklington enter a Reserve side next year, the first team will pay nothing, but the Reserves will pay for league entry and for 2 cups.
We know some of you will undoubtedly be disappointed by these decisions, however, we hope you agree that this is the best and fairest way?
