Project Christmas

Witney and district Christmas project
So I just wanted to share an amazing project I have brought together with the help of Witney and district football. This year we will be looking to support the most vulnerable this Christmas working in conjunction with Witney foodbank.
We recognise the strain Christmas brings to any family this time of year and completely understand the impact COVID will also play.
We will be putting together Christmas packages full of Christmas goodies. After discussing with the foodbank this time of year is amazing for them and they receive multiple food donations however they are extremely excited for the idea of Christmas gifts as this is something they have always wished to deliver. We are aiming to create Christmas goodie packages with items such as Christmas crackers, decorations, chocolates etc. We will also be collecting children’s Christmas gift for families to give to their children this Christmas. With items such as games, colouring books, hats, gloves, toys and necessity such as tooth brushes and soaps etc.
The plan is to collect children’s Christmas gifts in age brackets of:
- Baby/ Infant
- 5 and under
- 5+
I have created an email for anyone to contact me if they will be in need this Christmas and we will do our upmost to support whoever needs this help. This will be kept completely confidential and no information will be shared or stored.

We also welcome any further support outside of the Witney and district regarding this wonderful project. The support and interest I have received via Witney and district football is astronomical and I am extremely grateful!! Witnessing the community come together is just utterly beautiful. Each and every one of you should be so proud.
