Jack Busby Cup
James Juste bagged himself a brace as Division Three FC Chequers Reserves knocked Division Two Brize Norton Reserves out of the Jack Busby Cup. Steve Foster and Adam Izzard added the other goals.

Premier Division
Ducklington moved three points clear at the top of the Premier Division after a narrow 3-2 win over current Champions Hailey. Adam Clarke and Henry Clarke gave Duck the lead before two second half strikes from Joel King brought the game level. Duck keeper Ashley Edwards then saved a Perry Tinson penalty with Stu Cutts grabbing the winner later in the game. The only low point for Ducklington was the sending off of Lee Beer.

Hanborough moved into third courtesy of a 3-1 win over Charlbury Town. Liam Harris (2) and Dan Haggie scored the goals for Hanborough with Craig McCallum scoring Charlbury’s sole reply.

Dave Cross helped himself to a hat trick in Spartan Rangers 9-0 win over AC Finstock. The visitors were brought back down to earth with a bump after last week’s win over league leaders Combe as Matt Townsend (2), John O’Reve (2), Gavin Kominek and Nick Brown scored in the rout. The score line could have been different but for Spartan keeper, Steve Thomas who saved a penalty.

Mike Duerden bagged a brace in Wychwood Forest’s 3-1 win over Minster. Mike Bolt grabbed the other as Shaun Cross replied for the visitors.

Division One
The gap at the top of Division One closed slightly on Saturday as none of the top 4 sides could produce a win. Leaders FC Chequers were held to a 3-3 draw with fourth placed Aston. Sam Ockwell and Graham Barclay gave Aston a 2-0 half time lead with Matt Brown getting their third. Joe Hewer scored for FC Chequers, against his old side with Jack Bennett and Dan Harwood levelling the tie.

West Witney went down 3-1 to Brize Norton. Chris Hunt (2) and Matt Townsend scored the winning goals.

A solitary Mark Thompson strike was enough to ensure a 1-0 win for FC Nomads over North Leigh A. North Leigh could have earnt a point were it not for a missed penalty in the second half.

Chad Park beat Witney Wanderers 3-0. Josh Vaughan (2) and George Slatter scored the goals.

Aaron Witham scored with Shaun Weller getting the other in Chipping Norton’s 3-0 win over Hanborough Reserves.

FC Mills and Ducklington Reserves shared a point each as they drew 0-0.

Division Two
Ducklington A stay a point clear at the top of the division after securing a point against Wootton in a 2-2 draw despite having a man sent off. Luke Woodley and Bradley Olive scored for the hosts with Toby Warmisham and Tom Williams scoring for Wootton.

Southrop moved into second place after an exciting 4-3 win over Hailey Reserves. Southrop’s Simon Williams stole the show, scoring all 4 goals for the visitors. Darren Hargreaves, Adam Morrison and Stuart Morrison scored for Hailey.

Stanton Harcourt picked up a narrow 2-1 win over Charlbury Town Reserves with Martin Cripps and Billy Jones getting the goals. Mark Dellar replied for Charlbury.

Pawel Bronk grabbed a hat trick in Two Rivers 4-0 win over Milton. Bartek Lachwicz scored the other for Two Rivers, who had stand in keeper, Marcin Dudzinski to thank for saving a penalty.

Division Three
Leaders West Witney dropped more points but remain top after a 3-3 draw with Eynsham SSC. John Ayres scored a hat trick for the hosts, with Gary Smith, Jamie Goodwin and Adam Bolley replying for West Witney.

Second place Chipping Norton Swifts Reserves failed to capitalise on the leaders slip as they lost 3-2 to Tackley. Mark Barnes and Marc Clifton scored for Chippy but goals from Craig Broome, Ricky Hatton and Paul Grey settled the tie.

Freeland FC quietly moved up to 4th courtesy of a 3-2 win over Aston. Dan Godden and Ben Mayers scored for the hosts, but two goals from Sam Burton and an Ian Lewis strike sealed the win for Freeland.

Division Four
AFC Marlborough beat Freeland B 3-1. Ryan Moran-Ross, Adam Kelly and Steve Foreman scored for the visitors with Ben Halsey scoring for Freeland.

Ed Brookes scored a four-timer for FC Hollybush in their 6-1 mauling of Eynsham A. Ali Laing scored the other two for the hosts with Jamie Merry replying for Eynsham.

Corinthians picked up a well-earned point in a 3-3 draw against Ducklington B. Karl Indge (2) and Richard Meredith scored for Corinthians with Tom Baldwin (2), and Daniel Lewington scoring for Duck.

Spartan Rangers A and Combe Reserves drew 0-0. The hosts could have taken all three points from the penalty spot, however, failed to convert the set piece.
