John Fathers Oxforshire Junior Shield

Tower Hill Stars progressed into the second round of the John Fathers Junior Shield with a comfortable 4-0 win away at Wootton. Will Graham made it 10 for the season with a brace, Adam Townsend and Jamie Claridge joined him on the score sheet.

Fred Ford Cup

Division Three side Bletchington crashed out of the Fred Ford Cup in their first defeat of the season against Division One outfit, Aston. Jimmy Deabill scored for Bletch but Vince Evans, Matt Smith and Ryan Lewis replied for Aston.

Chadlington will face Witney Royals in the Fred Ford Cup after their 4-1 victory over Middle Barton. Liam Barnes bagged his third goal of the season for Barton but Jarvis Morley, Ashley Scearce and two for Matt Chadwick saw Chad advance into the last 16.

Jack Busby Memorial Trophy

Charlbury Reserves continued their fine form with a 5-1 away win at Bampton Reserves in the Jack Busby Cup. Cam Bilton scored Bamptons second goal of the season but goals from Dom Crisp and a double each for Damian Corbin and Michael Hayes made it 6 wins in 6 for Charlbury.

Brize Norton Reserves were awarded a bye into the next round as struggling Chadlington Reserves couldn’t field a team.

Stonesfield Reserves needed extra time agasint Witney Royals Reserves to find their way into the next round of the cup. Jack Barker and Shaun Kemp found themselves on the scoresheet for Stonesfield with Connor Ladbrooke netting a brace in their 4-3 win. Mikey Pipers double and Adam Greys solo effort weren’t enough for the Royals.

Premier Division

Shane Probitts double was in vain as Kirtlington fell just short in their 3-2 loss away to Carterton Town A. Chris Herbert, Tommy Burns and Olly Bush each with a goal for Carterton.

Charlbury Town got back to winning ways with a 3-0 win at home to Eynsham SSC, Warwick Tompkins with all three goals. Eynsham have now failed to score in their last 3 games, conceding 21.

Combe and Minster Lovell took a point each as their game finished 1-1. Charlie Ibbotson scored his second of the season for Combe, Gary Mitchell replied for Minster.

Hanborough made it 5 wins in 5 in their 5-0 win over Hailey and now sit two points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand. Jack Morton is now into double figures for the season as his double took his tally to 11. Craig Johnson also scored two, Dan Haggie joined in the scoring as well.

Witney Royals made it two wins in two with a narrow 3-2 win over Spartan Rangers, thanks to the Fernandes brothers. Telmo Fernandes grabbed one of the goals but a brace for brother Fabio gave Royals all three points. Charlie Waite and John Andrews hit back for Spartan.

Division One

Chris Laurences hattrick inspired FC Nomads to their first victory since the opening day of the season with a 5-3 win over Bampton United. Charlie Nelson and Dan Craig also found the goal for Nomads. Nathan Beckett, Lloyd Hancock and Connor O’Shea got their names on the scoresheet for Bampton.

Carterton Rangers moved up to second in the table with a 3-1 win away at Milton. Jim Littlewoods fourth of the season was only a consolation as Matt parry and two for Mikel Ryan secured Rangers the three points.

League leaders FC Hollybush were happy to take all three points as Moreton Rangers forfeited their game for the second week running.

Ducklington are still looking for their first point of the season as they ended up 3-1 losers away at Stonesfield. Nick Clarke, Sammy Hart and Paul Penney all scored for Stonesfield, Josh Hartley with the goal for Duck.

Division Two

FC Ascott made it 5 wins on the bounce with a 6-1 thrashing away at Brize Norton. Steve Harries’ hattrick took him into double figures for the season, Jack Sollis grabbed two and Callum Kirk also got on the scoresheet for Ascott. Gezz Morgan with Brize’s consolation.

Hanborough Reserves secured their third 3-0 win of the season away at Hailey Reserves. Ross Lewington, Sam Ruane and Mark Stinchcombe with the goals.

Kingham All Blacks put 5 past Spartan Reserves as they moved up to 8th in the table in a 5-1 win. Alex Thomson scored for the hosts but a brace from Olly Peters and a goal each for Sam Philpott, Jack Aitken and Ryan Barrass gave Kingham the win.

Tower Hill came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at home to Witney Wanderers, thanks to Adam Bolley and James Scott’s double. Tom Ackling with the two for Wanderers.

Division Three

Corinthians got their second win of the campaign in a 1-0 victory over FC Hollybush Reserves, the lowest scoring game of the season so far. Dan Smith with the goal.

Minster Lovell Reserves stayed unbeaten in their 4-3 win over Bourton Rovers Reserves, thanks to goals from Nick Rose, Andy Horne and two for Charlie McCulloch. Dan Ksizczyk, Scott Mosson and Lee Mosson all found the net for Bourton.

Division Four

A goal a piece for Will Coles, Christopher Blayney, Doug Lyons and Dan Briggs helped FC Ascott Reserves to a 4-3 win over Combe Reserves. Leke Shodunke bagged his 10th goal in 3 games, Simon Gale and Matt Dale joined him on the score sheet.

Kingham All Blacks Reserves moved up to 7th thanks to a bye in their game against Eynsham SSC Reserves.

Siege FC got back to winning ways after their disappointing cup exit last week, with a 4-0 over FC Mills. Karl Dodds, Nathan Howells, Will Griffiths and Carl Austin with the goals.

Spartan Rangers A came agonisingly close to their first point of the season in a 3-2 loss at home to Milton Reserves. Milton moved up to the top of the table thanks to goals from Dan Hooton, Stephen Hocknell and James Rawlings. An own goal assisted Spartans efforts, as well as a penalty from Jack Macke.
