Witney & District Supplementary Cup 17-18
Minster Lovell Reserves were playing catch up in the Supplementary Cup as they were eventually able to face Milton Reserves in their second round tie. The hosts eased through after recording a 4-2 score line. Ben Jackson (2), Luke Colville and Craig Sallis were on target for Minster with Dan Hooton and Jonny Lowe replying for Milton.

Witney Royals Reserves earned themselves a place in the Supplementary Cup semi final as they saw off Ducklington 3-2. Rob Debanks led Royals’ scoring with a brace accompanied by an Oliver Nolan Strike. Courage Nyenya and George Townsend replied in vain for Duck.

Watts Junior Cup 17-18 - Quarter Final
Bourton Rovers booked their place in the Watts’ Junior Cup semi-final after they knocked out Milton 4-3. Leigh Hillary and Levi Steele (2) scored for the hosts but a brace a piece from Lee Mosson and Keelan Gilbert secured the win by the odd goal.

John Fathers Oxfordshire Junior Shield 17-18 - Quarter Final
The league and cup double is still a possibility for FC Hollybush after they saw off Tower Hill 3-2. Luke Bolley and Luke James got on the score sheet for the hosts but goals from Rory Linford-Pill, Carl Austin and Jacob Hughes settled the tie In favour of Hollybush.

Premier Division
Hanborough are now within one win of top spot after their 1-0 win over Carterton Town A. A single Jack Morton goal was enough to put Boro’ within just 3 points of leaders FC Hollybush.

The two games at the bottom of the table saw four teams fighting for each valuable point. Carterton Rangers escaped with all three points as they narrowly beat Spartan Rangers 2-1. Alfie Saunders scored for Spartan but a Dan Hall double earned Carterton all three points. The win gives Carterton a little breathing space above the drop Zone and Spartan three points from safety.

It was a little more cut and dry in the match between Hailey and Combe where the hosts ran out 4-0 winners. Luke Manning (2), Sean King and a rare Mark Edmunds goal secured the points for Hailey who are now three points clear of the relegation zone. Combe on the other need a dramatic change in form if they want to continue playing Premier Division football next season.

Division One
In the days only Division One game, Witney Royals thrashed Bampton United 6-1 and moved into fourth place in the process. Miles Roberts was on fire hitting a hat trick with James O’Sullivan bagging a brace. Dave Cross completed the rout with Steve Newman getting Bampton’s consolation.

Division Two
Kingham All Blacks beat Hanborough Reserves 3-1 in the only game from Division Two. Sam Philpott scored twice with Gaz Price getting the other while Boro’s goal was scored by Keith Frendo.

Division Three
The big games in Division Three this weekend were at the bottom of the table where 4 of the relegation threatened sides were in action. The proverbial ‘6-pointer’ saw Chipping Norton Town Reserves beat FC Mills 3-2. Jon Room and James Rogers scored for Mills but it was not enough as Darren Bridge, Lukas Dolzel and Chris Mason were all on the score sheet for Chippy. The win saw the hosts move up two places, now sitting seven points above the drop zone. However, for Mills this now means they need to win at least half of their remaining six games to avoid the drop.

Bourton Rovers remain a place above FC Mills after they went down 4-1 to FC Hollybush Reserves. Jack Henry scored for Bourton but goals from Kev Buckingham, Jason Stalker, Dan Bourton and a collector’s item from Dean Jeffs completed the score line for Hollybush.

Ian Law and Jack Morgan scored as Combe went down 3-2 to Corinthians. Frank Webb with a brace and Perry Letten were the goal scorers for the visitors.

Division Four
Adrian Williams (2), Dan Lay and Tom Matthews all scored in Kingham AB Reserves 4-1 win over Eynsham SSC Reserves for whom Stephen Chappel netted.

Bampton United Reserves narrowly defeated Spartan Rangers A courtesy of a 3-2 score line. Rhichard Ghaga, Steve Allery and Oliver Partridge were all on song getting the goals for the hosts.

FC Ascott picked up three points after they journeyed to Bletchington Reserves. Michael Trafford and Senan Simmons scored for the hosts but goals from Charlie Vickers (2) and Chris Blayney secured the win for Ascott.
