Fred Ford Cup - Semi Final

Hanborough were in fine form in their semi final tie versus Carterton Town A as they hit 6 without reply. Aston Leach and Jack Morton helped out their team with a brace a piece, Joey Burgess and Craig Johnson were also on target.

Premier Division

Charlbury Town went 13 points clear thanks to a Warwick Tompkins hattrick as they beat Minster Lovell 5-0. Steve Hunt and Gareth Benfield also found the back of the net.

Jack Wood’s double helped Hailey to all three points in their 2-1 in over Eynsham SSC. Andy Stratford with Eynshams goal.

Spartan Rangers kept up their good form with a 3-1 win over Kirtlington. Ryan Moran-Ross scored for Kirtlington but goals from Alex Thomson and two for Dave Cross moved Spartan up to third.

Witney Royals remained bottom of the table in their 3-0 defeat at home to Combe. Simon Gale, Ethan Penney and Matt Baker with the goals.

Division One

Aston and Carterton Rangers couldn’t be split in their 2-2 draw at the weekend. Matt Brown and James Fleming scored for Aston, Mykel Ryan and Carl Shirley for Rangers.

Chadlington got back to winning ways as they beat seventh place Stonesfield 4-0. Gavin Walton hit a double, Matt Chadwick and Jarvis Morley were also on the scoresheet.

Milton picked up their second win of the season in a 5-1 victory over fifth place, FC Nomads. Alex Ayres struck twice, James Rawlings, Jim Littlewood and Leigh Hilary were all on target for Milton. Chris Laurence scored the consolation for Nomads.

Zak Ellis’ double helped Moreton Rangers to their third win of the season as they beat Bampton United 3-1. Dave Groom was also on target for Moreton, Connor Kelly with the Bampton goal.

Division Two

Chipping Norton Reserves were involved in their fourth draw as the season as their game finished 3-3 with Middle Barton. Shaun Collins, Yusef Okunade and Chris Mason all found the net for Chippy. John Umney, Liam Barnes and Jack Fowler scored for Barton.

FC Ascott kept up the pressure at the top of the table as they put 4 past Brize Norton without reply. Tom Cairns, Josh Korik, Steve Harries and Dylan Humphries with the goals.

Witney Wanderers moved up the fifth in their 5-0 win away at Hailey Reserves. Michael Bason, Stu Morrison, Mark Wright, Sam Wright and Bernie Crumlish with the Wanderers’ goals.

Tower Hill Stars remained top of the table in their 3-1 win away at third place, Hanborough Reserves. Mark Stinchcombe scored the consolation for Hanborough, whilst Will Smaldon, Kev Davies and Craig Mayes all found the back of the net for Stars.

Jamie Harris’ double helped Tower Hill to their 3-1 win away at Kingham All Blacks. Chris Perrott scored a free kick for the All Blacks, James Scott scored Tower’s third.

Division Three

Bletchington stayed top of the table thanks to goals from Jake Godfrey and Sam Cleaver in their narrow 2-1 win over Wootton. Karl Gustha with the goal for Wootton.

Charlbury Town Reserves kept the pressure on Bletchington with a 6-0 thumping over Bourton Rovers Reserves. Damian Corbin scored twice, Michael Hayres, Jordan Brooks, Sean Godfrey and Jack Mahoney were all on target.

Ducklington Reserves remained in seventh after their 2-2 with Aston Reserves. Ciaran Doyle and George Townsend found the back of the net for Ducklington, Ryan Lewis and Tim Senior for Aston.

Division Four

Siege FC went ten points clear and took their goal tally to 114 after their 5-1 win away at Brize Norton Reserves. Jason Hirshfield scored Brize’s only goal. Ben Reardon and Will Griffiths scored twice for Siege, Nathan Howells also joined in on the scoring.

Third place Milton Reserves picked up an impressive 2-1 win away at FC Mills, which potentially caused a huge blow to their title chances. Oliver Nolan scored for Mills but Will Collett and Dan Hooton secured all three points for Milton.

Spartan Rangers A moved up to 9th in their 6-2 win over bottom of the table Eynsham SSC Reserves. Scott Mason scored a hattrick for the hosts, James Macke hit a brace and Mev Gundeem also found the back of the net. Shaun Rowbotham scored for Eynsham, they were also helped with an own goal.

Stonesfield Reserves and FC Ascott Reserves were involved in a rare 0-0 draw over the weekend, Stonesfield have now been involved in 5 draws this season, two more than anyone else in Division Four.

Wootton Reserves moved up to seventh in their 2-0 win over second bottom Chadlington Reserves. Jacob Cooke and Mark Mumford with the goals.
