Fred Ford Cup

Jack Morton’s 26th goal of the season helped Hanborough through to the semi-finals of the Fred Ford Cup as they beat 4-3 Aston on penalties. Lee Beer’s goal for Aston saw the game end 1-1 in 90 minutes but Hanborough prevailed. They’ll face Carterton Town A in the next round.

Carterton Town A scraped through to the semis with a narrow 1-0 win away to Combe, thanks to a Chris McNeil goal.

Kirtlington eased into the next round with a 4-1 win at Witney Royals. Harry Hamblin hit home for Royals but goals from Nathan Kelly, Shane Probitts, Ross Gray and Jake East saw Kirtlington through, they’ll face FC Hollybush in the semi-finals.

Oxfordshire Junior Shield

FC Hollybush lost their first game of the season as they crashed out of the cup in a 3-2 defeat to KEA. Mark Threlfall and Bradley Bryant scored for Hollybush.

Jack Busby Memorial Trophy

Spartan Rangers Reserves thrashed FC Hollybush Reserves 8-1 in their quarter final tie of the Jack Busby Trophy. Alex Stubbs scored for Hollybush but Matt Townsends four and goals from Steve Wright, Kieren Watts, Nick Brown and Ben Hardcastle saw them into the semis.

Premier Division

Charlbury Town went 10 points clear at the top of Prem with a narrow 2-1 win at home to Spartan Rangers. Dave Cross found the back of the net for Spartan but all three points went Charlburys way thanks to goals from Gareth Benfield and Craig McCallum.

Minster Lovell moved off the bottom of the table with an emphatic 8-0 win away at Chipping Norton Town. Seb White bagged a hattrick in the impressive win, Gary Mitchell hit a brace and there was one each for Sam Wright, Josh White and John Fletcher.

Division One

Chadlington made it two wins in two as they beat struggling side Moreton Rangers, 3-1. Jarvis Morley hit a double, Warren Holland got the third. Lee Stefanovich was on target for Moreton.

A hattrick from Chris Laurence helped FC Nomads to a 5-2 victory over Milton. Rob Brown and Charlie Nelson were also on target for Nomads. Leigh Hilary and Jim Littlewood with the consolations for Milton.

Carterton Rangers moved within 5 points of top as they put 5 past Stonesfield without reply. Carl Shirley hit 3, Jonny Dover and Andrew Stone both found the target.

Division Two

Tower Hill Stars bounced back from last weeks defeat to beat Brize Norton comfortably, 7-1. Gezz Morgan found the goal for Brize but braces from Will Graham, Leigh Travers, Craig Mays and a solo effort from Luke Simmons gave Stars all three points.

Kingham All Blacks moved up to fourth with a 3-1 win away at Hailey Reserves. Mo Semlali scored for the home side but Olly Peters, Liam Goddard and Sam Philpott’s 13th of the season gave Kingham all three points.

Hanborough Reserves continued their impressive season and remained top with a 1-0 win over FC Ascott thanks to a Jacob Oliver goal.

Shaun Collins’ goal was a mere consolation as Chipping Norton were at the wrong of a 9-1 scoreline away at Tower Hill. Jack Scott and Luke Bolley both grabbed a hattrick, James Scott a brace and Bradley Olive was also on target.

Division Three

Ducklington Reserves made it three unbeaten as they convincingly beat Bampton United Reserves 7-1, thanks to goals from Courage Nyenya (2), Rory Dunseath (2), Ady Kew, Dan Stanley and Sam Doherty. Steve Newman was on target for Bampton.

Jimmy Deabill, Jake Godfrey and Chris Rae cemented Bletchington’s position at the top of the table as they beat Aston Reserves 3-0.

Minster Lovell Reserves won their first game in three as hammered Bourton Rovers Reserves 6-2. Lee Mosson and Dan Ksizczyk were on target for Bourton but Ben Jackson, Luke Hessey, Andy Horne, Charlie McCulloch and Nick Rose (2) gave Minster the win.

Title challengers Charlbury Town Reserves kept the pressure on at the top of the table with a 4-2 win away at Corinthians. Tom Williams, Michael Hayes, Sean Godfrey and Jordan Brooks helped Charlbury to the win. Ryan Jarvis and Frank Webb with Corinthians’ goals.

Division Four

Brize Norton made it 5 wins in 6 as they beat FC Ascott Reserves 3-2, despite Jason Bufton’s brace for the home side. Richard Duffy and Jason Hirshfields double moved Brize up to third.

Adrian Williams’ hit a hattrick for the second game running as Kingham Reserves put 6 past Chad Reserves without reply. Danny Case, Tom Matthews and Bob Harlow were also on target.

James Rawlings’ hattrick gave Milton Reserves all three points in their 3-0 victory over Wootton Reserves.

Siege FC went 7 unbeaten as they beat Combe Reserves 8-0, going 3 points clear. Kev Lewis hit four, Carl Austin, Karl Dodds, Nathan Howells and Lee Manley were also involved in the scoring.

Mev Gundeem scored the only goal in the meeting between Spartan Rangers A and Stonesfield Res as Spartan made it 4 wins in 4, after not picking up a single point in their opening 9 games.
