John Father Oxfordshire Junior Shield

Aston found themselves in the next round of the cup with a comfortable 4-0 win over Banbury outfit, Diverse FC, thanks to a Lee Beer hatrick and a solo effort from Ryan Hewer.

Jason Trinder’s doubled helped Carterton Town A into the next round as they beat Charlbury Town 3-2. Craig McCallum and Warwick Tompkinson were on target for Charlbury but Rob Marsh’s goal sealed the win for Carterton.

Goals from Dan Hall, Billy Hales, Ben Pearce and two for Andrew Stone saw Carterton Ranger go through as they put 5 past Chasewell Park without reply.

Prem side Chipping Norton Town scraped through as they beat Division Two side and local rivals Middle Barton 2-1. Aaron Witham was on target for Chippy before Barton’s ever present John Umney replied but Andy McCabe hit late into the game to see Chippy through.

A brace each for Ethan Penney and Leke Shodunke helped Combe into the next round as they beat Bloxham 4-2.

FC Hollybush made it 13 wins on the trot as they beat Oxford side, Union Street, 5-1. Goals from Bradley Bryant, Alan Rogers, Chris Marshall and two for Dan Bishop, taking his tally to 16 for the season.

Lee Woodward was on target for Chadlington for the fourth time this season but it was only a consolation as they lost 7-1 to KEA.

Milton got their first win in three as they beat Tower Hill Stars 2-1 thanks to an own goal and Leigh Hilary. Marc Cornish hit back for Stars.

Hailey crashed out the cup despite their best efforts against Sinclair United, losing 3-2. Connor Beveridge and Devon Wright with the Hailey goals.

Spartan Rangers dreadful start to the season continued as they went out of the cup to Division Two side, FC Ascott, losing 2-1. John Clarke scored for Spartan but Kai Merritt and Sam Carins helped Ascott through to the next round.

Premier Division

Matty Walker and John Ayres helped Eynsham SSC pick up their first league win in almost three months as they beat struggling side Minster Lovell, 2-1. Gary Mitchell with Minsters goal.

Kirtlington picked up their first league win in 9 weeks as they beat Witney Royals 3-2, despite Fabio Fernandes’ double for Royals. Kaylum Patterson also found the net twice, on his debut for Kirtlington, Shane Probitts sealed the win.

Division One

Bampton United got back to winning ways as they beat FC Nomads 5-2. Chris Maskell and Chris Laurence were on target for Nomads but goals from Tom Boot, Sid Ashley, Daniel Paintin and Joe Paintin (2) gave Bampton all three points.

Division Two

Hanborough Reserves won their eighth game of the season as they put five past Brize Norton, who have now failed to win in five. Neil Rose bagged himself a hattrick, Herbie Hamilton scored his eighth and ninth of the season.

Kingham All Blacks were held at home to local rivals Chipping Norton Reserves in a 1-1 draw. Rocky Burton found the bottom corner with a towering header only minutes into the game before Dom Hemmings earned Kingham a point later in the game.

Division Three

Jimmy Deabill scored his 18th and Bletchington’s 40th of the season as they beat Ducklington Reserves 1-0.

Strugglers Bourton Rovers Reserves and FC Hollybush Reserves remained in the bottom three as they drew 3-3. Ben Hughers, Lee Mosson and Mark Payne all found themselves on the scoresheet but Arron Hyatt and Timmy Stiddard (2) made sure the points were split between the teams.

After winning only one of their opening five games, Wootton have now won six of their last seven as they beat second place Charlbury Town Reserves 2-1, thanks to goals from Lee Spencer and Michael Steers. Sean Godfrey scored his third of the season.

Division Four

Daniel Strain’s double helped Wootton Reserves win their first game in seven as they beat FC Ascott Reserves 2-1. Jason Bufton with Ascott’s goal.

FC Mills moved level on points with league leaders Siege FC, with two games in hand as they hammered bottom of the table, Eynsham Reserves, 12-1. Eynsham’s goal came from a Stuart Cutts own goal. Davy Cooper (2), Danny Rayfield (3), Jonny Room (3) and Shaun Rayfield (4) were all on target, in the right net, for Mills.

Siege FC dropped points for a second week running as they were held at home to Stonesfield Reserves, drawing 3-3. Nathan Howells and Ben Reardon (2) found the net for Siege but Shaun Kemp, Jamie Garden and Jordan Newman gave Stonesfield a well deserved point.

Spartan Rangers A moved off of the bottom of the table in style as they secured an emphatic 4-3 victory over Brize Norton Reserves. Richard Duffy, Daniel Simon and Dave Anstee were all on target for Brize but Tom Merchant, Joel Spalding and a Darren Light double gave Spartan their second win of the season.
