FRED FORD CUP 1ST ROUND
New boys Carterton Pumas found the going tough in their first Fred Ford match, losing 4-1 to Chad Park. George Slatter (2), Josh Vaughan and Neil Keenan scored the goals that saw them through to the next round. Keiron Lace scored the consolation goal for Pumas.

PREMIER DIVISION
Ducklington continued their 100% start to the season by thrashing perennial title hopefuls Charlbury Town 5-1. Craig McCallum scored the hosts only goal, as Darren Harris (2), Jordan Cormack (2) and Ian Peedell struck the winning goals for Duck.

Current champions Hailey were held in a thrilling 4-4 draw by Minster Lovell. On the score sheet for Minster were Jed Riddy, Nathan Harris, Leigh Travers and Ed Dunn whilst Joe Fullerton (2), Jacob Hambidge and John Andrews scored for Hailey.

Combe doubled their points tally with their second win in two matches after beating Spartan Rangers 2-1. A Sam Hibberd strike and an own goal from Gareth Thomas was enough to render Matt Townsend’s goal mere consolation.

Wychwood Forest picked up their first win by beating Kingham AB 2-0. Mike Bolt and Mike Grey scored the telling goals.

Hanborough 0 v 0 Witney Royals.

DIVISION ONE
West Witney retain top spot with a convincing 8-1 mauling of FC Nomads. Jamie McDonough, Matt Boyd and Steve Read each bagged a brace with Tony McLeman and Dave Cooper adding. Kristen Thomas’ goal was in vain for the hosts.

Chipping Norton went down 2-1 to Brize Norton. Matt Townsend and Dan Frizzell scored the goals which keep Brize in second place. Warwick Tompkins scored for Chippy.

FC Chequers also made it 3 wins from 3 games after beating Ducklington Reserves 5-1. Nathan Beckett scored a hat trick with Jack Bennett adding. Marcus Townsend scored the 5th after Ian Luckett’s strike for Duck.

Aston 2 (Dan Long, Matt Brown), v 3 Hanborough Reserves (Pete Andrews 2, Mark Stinchcombe)
North Leigh A 3 (Sam Doherty 2, Luke Simmonds) v 2 FC Mills (Arron Hyatt, Gary Murphy)

DIVISION TWO
Middle Barton beat Spartan Rangers 3-2 to continue their winning start to the season. Ben Lucas scored twice for the hosts, but it was not enough as goals from Jack Eaglestone (2) and Neil Tanner settled the tie.

Stanton Harcourt remain unbeaten in second after a 7-1 thrashing of Ducklington A. Tom Gerken and George Woodcock each scored twice with Sean Lalor and Billy Jones adding. Lee Beer scored for duck.

Milton 1 (Jim Littlewood) v 4 Witney Royals Reserves (Mikey Piper 2, Ian Franklin, Chris Pardew)
Brize Norton Reserves 2 (Sean Rawlings, Rob Brown) v 2 Two Rivers (Bartek Lachwicz, Krystof Kieltyka)
Carterton A 1 (Terry Cockett) v 1 Charlbury Town Reserves (1 o.g.)

DIVISION THREE
West Witney Reserves missed the chance to take a 4 point lead at the top after being held to a 3-3 draw with Tackley. Josh Soloman and Adam Bolley were amongst the scorers for West Witney whilst Craig Broome, Todd Bayliss nad Oscar Triggs netted for Tackley.

Freeland opened up their account with a 9-1 mauling of FC Mills Reserves. Tom Rogers scored for the hosts, but a 4-timer from Aiden Williams, a hat trick for Neil Swan and a brace for Darius Hodaei put the visitors out of sight.

Dave Webb, Dean Jeffs and Tom Gonzales were all on target for FC Chequers Reserves as they picke dup their first three points in a 3-1 win over North Leigh B. Tom Radburn scored for North Leigh against his old club.

Witney Royals A 0 v 2 Aston Reserves (Matt Brice, Paul Hibberd)
Eynsham SSC 2 (John Ayres 2), v 2 Minster Lovell Reserves (Collis King, Ryan Maskery)

DIVISION FOUR
AFC Marlborough demonstrated why they are early promotion favourites by beating Spartan Ranger A 6-2. Anthony Brooker and Mark Luke nabbed a brace each with Jon Clements and Ryan Moran-Ross adding. Tom Merchant and Andy Shaw replied in vain for Spartan.

FC Hollybush also demonstrated their firepower with an 8-1 thrashing of Eynsham SSC Reserves. Dan Smith, Dan Tasker, Ed Brookes each scored twice while Dan King and Steve Aldous also got on the score sheet.
