John Fathers Junior Shield
Milton from Division Two gave a great account of themselves against Premier side Witney Royals, in an epic match which saw the sides share 14 goals. Royals were held to a 6-6 draw by the visitors after 90 minutes and it took extra time for the hosts to eventually make the difference. Ryan Colleton and Jamie Kennedy each bagged a hat trick with Matt Thompson and Gary Nicholson all registering for Royals. Steven Pearce scored a hat trick for Milton in response with Harry Lake, Rob James and an own goal contributing to their tally, which wasn’t quite enough.

Premier Division leaders West Witney eased into the third round after an 8-2 mauling of Wootton from Division Three. Mike Duerden banged in a hat trick with Ian Sparkes, Tony McLemen and Johnny Fletcher all adding. Graham Berry’s brace for Wooton was their only response.
Daryl Potter scored a hat trick in Charlbury Town’s 5-1 win over Brize Norton. The other goals came from Sean Gilbert and Mark Fizgerald.

Aston are through to the next round after a straight forward 2-0 win over FC Nomads. Charlie Fisher and Ian Peedell were on target for the hosts.

A single goal from Matt Lee was enough to see Carterton Rangers through to the third round with a 1-0 win over Bampton United.

Connor McEachran, Steven Hunt and Callum Jefferies all scored in Chadlington’s 3-2 win over Steeple Aston.

Combe progressed to the next round courtesy of a 2-0 win over Union Street. Simon Gale and Callum Surrage were on target in the win,

Spartan Rangers eased through to round Three after a 30- win over Eynsham SSC. Josh Grant score d a brace with David Cross getting the others,

Hanborough recorded a 5-2 win over Middle Barton ensuring their name went into the hat for the next round, Rob Keylock scored twice with Aston Leach, Neil Rose and Joey Burgess all adding, Jack Eley and Jack Fowler responded for the visitors.

Kirtlington failed to advance after going down 2-1 to Westminster.

Division Two
Carterton Town B increased their lead at the top of Division Two after an 8-1 thrashing of Minster Lovell Reserves. Lee Manley banged in a hat trick as Dan Sollis (2), Jason Hirschfield and Chris MacNeil all added. A Nathan Bowles strike for Minster was mere consolation.

Spartan Rangers Reserves, in fourth, edged away from the chasing pack after a 4-2 win over Moreton Rangers. The goals were shared among Charlie Harper, Omar Semlali, Craig Isle and Damien Perks with Zac Ellis and Callum Peters responding for Moreton.

Division Three
FC Mills picked up their first points of the season courtesy of a 3-0 win over Enstone. Jamie Fleming, Jason Thomas and Josh Morgan were all on target for Mills who despite the win, remain bottom of the table.

Tower Hill Starts were made to work hard for their 6-1 win over Witney Royals Reserves. Adam Townsend and Will Graham each scored twice with Kevin Davies and Rich Meredith getting the others. Mikey Piper was on target again for Royals.

Frank Webb picked up a four-goal-haul for Corinthians as they cruised to a 5-2 win over Bampton United Reserves. Peter Barnicoat also scored for the hosts with Carl Pritchard and Tom Madden replying for Bampton.

Division Four
Eynsham SSC Reserves moved clear of the bottom two after a 7-0 thrashing of Wychwood Forest Reserves. Darren Mobey scored 4 in the match with Alex Timms (2) and Lee Parsons getting the others.

Darren Aston, Darren Smith and Arron Hyatt were all on target for FC Hollybush Reserves in their 3-2 win over Milton Reserves. Louis Breaks and Stephen Hocknell replied for the visitors.

Spartan Rangers A earned their second win of the season courtesy of a 4-3 win over Combe Reserves. Tom Merchant bagged a brace in the win with Leon Steele and James Macke getting the others.
