Oxford Charity Cup
Ducklington are through to the Second Round of the Oxford Charity Cup after a 4-3 win over Adderbury Park. Duck came from behind 3 times to earn the win. The visitors took the lead from the spot after 5 minutes which they then could have doubled, again from a spot kick were it not for the agility of keeper, Joe Cockroft who got down well to save the effort. Jack Morton pulled Duck level before half time. Further goals from Jordan Cross and George Townsend twice levelled the score line before a Jamie Austin strike gave Duck the lead, which they held to secure the win.

Premier Division
With Only a handful of games in the Premier Division this weekend, Carterton A opened up a 3 point lead at the top of the table. Jason Trinder, Mark Stayers and Michael Duerden were all on target in Towns 3-0 win over Hosts Chipping Norton Town.

Charlbury Town moved into third place after a 4-1 win over Hanborough. Craig McCallum scored twice with Jack Mahoney and Shaun Gilbert also scoring. Aston Leach scored for Boro’.

It’s still tight at the bottom where just 2 points separate the bottom 5 teams. Brize Norton and Witney Royals had to settle for a share of the spoils after their 1-1 draw. Rob Hook and Steve Holder scored for Brize and Royals respectively.

Division One
Leaders Spartan Rangers were left ruing missed chances as they were held to a 1-1 draw against lowly Kingham. Josh Grant scored for the hosts but a Gaz Price goal brought parity to the score line. The point lifts Kingham off bottom spot and marks the first time Spartan have lost points this season.

Combe stay third after a 6-0 thrashing of FC Nomads. Brothers, Simon (2) and Matt Baker scored with Simon Gale and Ollie Morgan getting the others.

Mo Semlali scored twice in Hailey Reserves 3-1 win over Aston. Jacob Hambridge scored the other with Ryan Hewer netting for Aston.

Paul Salter scored a hat trick in North Leigh’s 4-1 win over Eynsham SSC. Michael Pratley scored the 4th as Ash Bowerman replied for Eynsham.

A Dave Cooper goal was the difference between FC Hollybush and Chadlington as the hosts picked up a 1-0 win.

Division Two
Milton move level on points at the top of Division Two after dishing out the first defeat of the season for hosts and leaders Stonesfield. Milton came from behind to bag the 2-1 win after two headed goals from Rob James.

Lee Keys smashed in 5 goals in Carterton Rangers 13-0 mauling of Enstone. Keys took his tally to 9 in 3 league games with Dan Hall also putting away 4. Ben Pearce scored twice with Billy Hales and Johnny Dover also getting in on the act.

Shane Probitts banged four in past Hanborough Reserves after the hosts went down 8-1 to Kirtlington. Lewis Maskens scored for Boro’ but further goals from Darryl Collins, Sam Wheeler, Bruce Wilson and Jake East completed the rout.

Two Own goals and a strike from David Oliver saw Ducklington Reserves pick up a 3-1 win over Witney Wanderers for whom Sam King scored.

FC Mills went down 2-0 to Bampton United.

Division Three

Jack Scott picked up a 5-goal hail in Ducklington A’s 8-0 thumping of Bourton Rovers Reserves. Luke Bolley, Lewis Bartlett and Jamie Harriss netted the others.

Minster Lovell Reserves inflicted a second defeat of the season on Tower Hill in a 1-0 win, courtesy of a Rob Trinder goal.

Corinthians good form continued after a 4-1 win over Wootton Sports. Aidan Foard, Sam Aston, Frank Webb and Dan Smith all found the back of the net as Jamie Fisher pulled one back for Wootton.

Matt Smith (2), Matt Chadwick and Sam Philpott all got on the score sheet in Chipping Norton Town Reserves 4-1 win over Brize Norton Reserves. Ciaran Clarke pulled one back for the visitors.

All the goals came in the first half as Witney Royals Reserves went down 2-1 to Middle Barton. Dan Harflett gave the hosts the lead with a thunderous long range effort from his own half. However, two goals from Martin Kay overturned the score line to give the visitors all three points.

Division Four
Tower Hill Reserves stay 3 points clear at the top with their 100% start in tact after a narrow 2-1 win over Charlbury Town Reserves. Will Graham and Adam Townsend were on target for the hosts with Daryll Potter getting one back for Charlbury.

Eynsham A remain second courtesy of a 5-3 win over Bampton United Reserves. Oliver Page scored a four-timer with Declan Green getting the other. Sam Hancock, Rich Gahgan and Dan Painted replied in vain for Bampton.

Spartan Rangers A lost ground on the leaders as they went down 3-2 to Chadlington Reserves. The hosts picked up their first win of the season courtesy of a Jordan Godfrey hat trick. Matt Townsend and Tom Merchant replied for vanquished Spartan.

Milton Reserves moved into fourth as they edged a narrow 3-2 win over Kingham Reserves Liam Barnes and Shane Cooper scored for the hosts but goals from Arrun Baker, Stephen Pearce and Paul Townsend settled the tie in favour of Milton.

The points were shared at Wootton Reserves, where the hosts played out a 3-3 draw with Wychwood Forest. Ryan Royal, John Holder and Sam Benwell scored for Wootton with Neil Phillips (2) and Ash Rowland scoring for Wychwood.

Eynsham SSC Reserves picked up their second win of the season courtesy of a 5-3 win over basement boys FC Hollybush Reserves. Daniel Johnson scored a hat trick with Lee Parsons and Alex Timms adding. Doug Mulvihill, Arron Mulllis and Jorge Franks replied in vain for the Bush.
