John Fathers Junior Shield
Kirtlington are through to the next round after a 3-2 win over Banbury United Youth. John O’Mole scored twice with James Butler getting the other.

Middle Barton will join them in the hat after a 3-1 win over Wootton, while the likes of Corinthians and Wychwood Forest will have to try again next season as they were knocked out by Wroxton Sports and Swiss respectively.

Premier Division
West Witney’s title winning form returned to them on Saturday as they inflicted the first defeat on league leaders, Carterton Town A. Chris Hirons and Craig Mays scored for the hosts with Tommy Burns pulling one back for Town.

Form went completely out of the window at Wash Meadow where Minster Lovell, then without a win, smashed in 5 without reply in a 5-0 win over high-flying Chipping Norton Town. Connor Tinsley scored twice with Nathan Harris, Martin Bull and Jordan Denley getting the others.

This allowed Hailey to move into second place after they picked up a 2-1 win over Witney Royals, courtesy of a last minute strike from Luke Manning. Steve Brasier had earlier scored for the visitors with Dean Mays scoring for Hailey.

Brize Norton also picked up their first points of the season with a 4-2 win at Hanborough. Neil Rose scored twice for the hosts, but goals from Pawel Bronk (2), Rob Hook and Shaun Rawlings gave all three points to the visitors.

Division One
Spartan Rangers moved into top spot, on goal difference courtesy of an 8-1 thrashing of Kingham. Sam Philpot scored for the hosts but Spartan were unstoppable as Josh Grant and Matt Howard each bagged a brace. Frank Clarke, Rory Dunseath, Jamie Timms and Donovan Henderson-Sowerby all contributed to the rout.

Bourton Rovers slipped into second despite beating North Leigh 4-3. Goals from Sam Mattock, Chris Mills, Craig Gibson and Callum Trot were enough to earn all three points despite Lee Mosley, Paul Slater and Ben Reardon all finding the back of the net for the hosts.

Combe moved up into third place after a 6-1 mauling of Eynsham SSC. John Ayres scored the only goal for the visitors while Ollie, Morgan-Bellamy (2), Ethan Penny (2), Chris Betreen and Simon Baker all scored for Combe.

Chadlington picked up their first win of the season with a 4-1 win over Hailey Reserves. Steve Hunt picked up a hat trick in the process with Jack Morgan getting the other. Hailey’s only response was an own goal from Chad.

FC Nomads went down 3-1 to Aston. David Pryse scored for the hosts with Benji Sunblad, Ryan Oliver and an own goal completing Aston’s tally.

Division Two
Stonesfield continued to blaze a trail through Division Two, this time a 7-0 rout over Hanborough Reserves kept them joint top of the Division. Tom Green scored a hat trick with Matthew Tarry (2), Mike Phipps and Chris Jordan getting the others.

Only goal difference separates Stonesfield and Carterton Town B, after they beat Milton 3-1. Lee Manley, Dan Robinson and Oliver Bush scored for Town with Max Win-Penny netting for Milton.

Carterton Rangers finally kicked off their season, picking up a 5-1 win over Bampton. Chris Smith scored twice with Dan Hall, Lee Keyes and James Baker scoring the others.

Tom Gregory and James Bason both scored for Witney Wanderers in their 2-0 win away to Ducklington Reserves.

Division Three
Tower Hill move 3 points clear at the top after a 4-1 win over Brize Norton Reserves. Jason Hirschfield scored for the hosts but goals from Joe Brown, Ian Wright, Jack Simpson and Adam Major ensured all three points would go to the visitors.

Stu Cutts, Shay Cowin and Dan Bullock all got on the score sheet for Ducklington A in their 3-0 win over Chipping Norton Town Reserves.

Minster Lovell Reserves picked up their first points of the season with a 5-1 win over struggling Witney Royals Reserves. Robin Trinder put Minster ahead with a bullet header, only for Mikey Piper to draw the hosts level with a superb effort. However, Minster moved up through the gears with further goals from Cody Davies, Nathan Bowles, Charlie McCullough and Alex Coutts to take the points.

Division Four
Wootton Reserves picked up their first points of the season, and left FC Hollybush rooted, pointless to the foot of the table after a 3-1 win over their hosts. Adam Rackham scored for Hollybush but goals from John Holder (2) and Finn Saunders secured the points.

Matt Townsend scored twice as Spartan Rangers A beat Milton Reserves 4-2. Ben Allen and Chris Blainey got the others with Dan Hootton netting twice for Milton.

Kingham Reserves picked up 3 points courtesy of a 4-0 win over Aston Reserves. Ed Webb (2), Josh Harbys and Jake Hazelwood got the others.

Bampton United Reserves beat Chadlington Reserves 5-3 with D.Paintin (2), J Paintin, Hancock and Madden all getting on the score sheet. Webb Rhodes and Harris replied for Chad but it was not enough.

Matt Cox, Sean Godfrey and Mark Deller all found the back of the net for Charlbury Town Reserves in their 3-2 win over Eynsham SSC Reserves for whom Jason Smith and Daz Johnson scored.
