Jack Busby Cup Final
Brize Norton Reserves are the new Jack Busby Cup holders. They clinched the trophy with a solid performance in a 3-1 win over Spartan Rangers Reserves. Matthew Howard opened the scoring when he took the ball around a static Spartan keeper to put Brize ahead.

Spartan then equalised with a great strike from Jason King to give bring parity to the half time score line. However, the equilibrium didn’t last long as Paul Morrison hit home a long ranch volley to make it 2-1 to Brize. Neither side took advantage of the few chances created until Scott Peaper knocked in Brize’s third on the full time whistle.

Senior Cup Quarter Final
Hailey are through to the senior Cup semi-final after a convincing 3-1 win over Charlbury. Steve Fitzgerald scored for the hosts but goals from Luke Manning, Ian Steele Butler and Jacob Hambidge secured Hailey’s passage to the next round.

Junior Cup Semi Final
Division Two mavericks, Carterton Rangers came unstuck against Division One strugglers North Leigh in a 4-3 defeat. North Leigh took a 2-0 lead into the break with Craig Greenhalgh getting both. Rangers then turned on the style, overturning the deficit to take the lead after goals from Lee Keyes (2) and Chris Balfe. However a strike from Max Godwin and another from Rich Meredith minutes before time swang the tie in favour of the visitors.

Premier Division
Minster Lovell completed their season with a 0-0 draw against Chadlington. The result was academic as Chadlington were already destined to play Division One football next season after being relegated with Aston, who finished 3 points from safety.

Division One
Hailey Reserves were only minutes away from being crowned Division One Champions, however, Bourton Rovers were on hand to spoil the party by inflicting a 4-2 defeat on their visitors. The hosts took the lead through Craig Gilson and Matt Winter, but Hailey, not giving up on the title levelled the tie with goals from Mo Semlali and Steve Holder.

It was looking good for the point that the needed to go top until around 5 minutes from the end when Adam Welby and Sam Mattock scored the 3rd and 4th goals to effectively end Hailey’s hopes. The result meant that Brize Norton remain top and are promoted back to the Premier Division as Champions of Division One.

Division Two
Kirtlington moved into third place with their final throw of the Division Two dice. They notched up a 9-0 thrashing of FC Mills with Shane Probitts and Nathan Kelly each bagging a brace. Ryan Moran-Ross, Daryll Collins , James Buller and Danny Woodley got the others.

Carterton Rangers could move into third and bag the rare 3-potential promotion place if they pick up 3 points in their last game against second place FC Hollybush.

Division Three
With top spot already clinched by Carterton Town B, the biggest prize, yet to be decided, was who’d be joining them in Division Two next season. Bampton United faced the Champions and put on a 4-star display as they recorded a rather surprising 4-0 win. Nathan Beckett scored twice with Conor O'Shea and Tom Madden getting the others. Carterton had little in response, but still finished the season 4 points clear at the top of the division.

Wootton were left ruing missed chances including a last minute penalty as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Spartan Rangers Reserves. The visitors started the day in second place, but slipped to third and out of the promotion spots after Steve Wright had levelled an earlier own goal from Spartan. A point was not enough for Wootton, however Spartan could still take second the promotion spot if they win both remaining games, one of which, is against Bampton united.

In the token end of season mid-table clash, Minster Lovell picked up their final 3 points of the season with a 2-1 win over Middle Barton. Nathan Bowles and Neil Crozier were on target for the hosts with John Umney replied for Barton.
