Fred Ford Cup Final
Premier Division Champions West Witney have completed the league and cup double after picking up the Fred Ford Cup, courtesy of a 2-0 win over Combe. Both goals came in the first half, first through Chris Bowles with Kevin Lewis doubling the lead shortly after. Despite a lot of possession in the second half, the Division Two outfit couldn’t break through the solid West Witney defence.

Jack Busby Memorial Trophy

Duck had no such issues as they dispatched Minster Lovell 4-1 with goals from Ben Butter (2), Jordan Cross and Damon Tolley.Substitute Cody Davies was on hand to score Minsters consolation.

Supplementary Cup Quarter Final
In the Supplementary Cup, Division Three title contenders Carterton Town B saw off Division Four side, FC Hollybush Reserves 5-1. John Smailes scored a hat trick, with Dan Sollis and Chris Jones netting the others.

In the other quarter final, Ducklington A edged narrowly passed Charlbury Reserves 2-1. Antony Lune and Gary O'Donovan both on target for the hosts.

Division One
Brize Norton followed up their midweek Rob Marsh-inspired 1-0 victory over Spartan Rangers with a 3-1 win over Hanborough Reserves. Scott Akers scored for Spartan, but a double from Gerard Morgan and one from Matt Howard moved Brize 4 points clear at the top of the table. None of the chasing pack played at the weekend, but all have two games in hand on the leaders with games left to play.

The rest of the Division Two matches involved sides at the other end of the table. However with Freeland and Hanborough’s relegation already confirmed, pride and local bragging rights were the only things left to play for. FC Nomads; who can still technically achieve promotion saw off Eynsham 6-2. Chris Lawrence bagged a brace with Steve Bircher, Josh Truby, Jono Woodward and an own goal making up the rest. John Ayres, who else; netted both for Eynsham.

North Leigh and Freeland drew 1-1 with Josh Russell and Adi Williams scoring for the goals respectively.

Division Two
Combe are the Division Two Champions having showed great bouncebackability after their midweek cup defeat to earn a 1-0 win over title rivals, Carterton Rangers. Simon Baker scored the only goal of the game in what turned out to be the title decider and capped what has been an eventful week for the hosts.

Rangers now need other results to go their way if they are to earn promotion to Division One. This, after fellow promotion chasers FC Hollybush picked up 4-3 midweek win over Finstock.

Kirtlington’s hopes of promotion were effectively ended after a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Bampton Town. Jamie Austin hit a hat trick in the win with Harry Cameron also amongst the scorers. The win was arguably Bampton’s highlight of the season, as despite picking up 3 points, they found themselves second from bottom having played all their games. They will be joining bottom side Witney Royals Reserves in Division Three next season.

Milton picked up another win courtesy of a 3-2 result at home to FC Mills, Pip Benfield smashed in a hat trick with Rob Seymour and Rob DeBanks scoring for Mills.

Division Three

Unfortunately for Kingham; this meant that they finished their campaign, second from bottom and join Charlbury Reserves through the trap door to Division Four.

At the top of the table, Spartan Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw with Bourton Rovers Reserves, thus denting their promotion hopes. Andy Coleman scored for the hosts with Steve Wright netting for Spartan who now need to claw back a 4 point gap in their remaining 3 games to get promoted.

Division Four

Goal machine Jamie Goodwin and Adam Bolley grabbed hat tricks with the other goals shared out amongst the team. Simon Winstone, Conor Tinsley, Elliot Graham, Jessie Lawrence, Joe Brown, Ian Wright and veteran James Minion (playing his last game before retirement) all getting on the score sheet. The hosts also defeated Aston Reserves in the week ensuring that second placed Corinthians, could not be caught and therefore joined Tower Hill in Division Three next season.

Milton Reserves picked up only their second win of the season; a 5-1 mauling of Wootton Reserves. Dan Hootton banged in a 4-timer with Adam Rudd getting the other. Ady Marks scored the consolation goal for Wootton.
