W&D Junior Cup 1st Round
Carterton Rangers secured a quarter final place in the Junior Cup after a 5-3 win over Combe. Lee Keys bagged another two with Sam Giles (2) and James Barker adding.

Keys’ might be facing his old club FC Hollybush in the next round after they saw off FC Mills 5-1. Dave Cooper and Kevin Davies each bagged a brace with Ally Laing scoring from the spot. Matt Holloway scored for Mills.

Ducklington Reserves edged past Freeland with a 2-0 win. George Townsend and Scott Mason both finding the back of the net.

Hanborough Reserves are out after going down 4-1 to North Leigh. Tom Weedon scored for the hosts but goals from Darren Tasker (2) Jason Blackman and Dan Jelby settled the tie.

A brace from Matt Townsend aided Spartan Rangers 4-1 win over Witney Wanderers. Josh Grant and Donovan Henderson-Sowerby scored the others with Daryl John netting for the visitors.

In an earlier round, Bourton Rovers booked themselves a place in the second round of the Junior Shield after a 7-5 Extra Time win over FC Nomads. Nomads gave a good account of themselves with goals from Mike Hole (2), Chris Lawrence (2) and Dave Hurp, but Bourton’s Craig Gilson scored a hat trick with Phil Colmer, Matt Winter, Keegan Bowes and Josh Catling settling the tie in favour of the visitors.

Supplementary Cup 2nd Round
Carterton Town B edged out Brize Norton Reserves 4-3 in a thrilling cup tie. Rob Brown (2) and Scott Peaper scored for the hosts, but goals from Ryan Healing, Adam Harris, Olly Bush, Craig Isle secured passage to the next round for Town.

In an equally nail biting tie, Ducklington A beat Aston Reserves by the same 4-3 score line. A debut hat trick for Craig Turnbull was the highlight for Duck with Ian Luckett netting the other. Matt Wood, Paul Herbert and Adam Gregor scored for Aston.

Division Four Champions Tower Hill saw off Kingham Reserves from Division Three, 2-1. Ian Wright and Connor Tinsley scored for the hosts with Richard French replying for Kingham.

A goal each from David Souch and Stephen Burke was enough to earn Minster Lovell Reserves a 2-0 win over Wootton and a place in the next round..

In the postponed 1st round games, Charlbury Town Reserves beat Milton Reserves 4-3. Dan Hootton (2) and Pat King scored for the hosts before Jack Eley (2), Craig Harris and Jacob Hancock all netted for the win.

Also, Wychwood Forest saw off Chadlington Reserves with a 2-1 win. Ben Powell and Tom Nicholson were on target for Wychwood.

Premier Division
West Witney edged a step closer to winning the Premier Division title after a narrow 2-1 win over Aston. The visitors got off to a flying start after Carl Williams scored within 20 seconds from kick off. Williams then doubled his tally with Phil Caswell replying for Aston.

West Witney now have a seven point lead at the top after former Champions Hanborough recorded a shock 3-2 win over second place Chipping Norton Town. Dan Blake and Andy McCabe scored for Chippy, but a double from Neil Rose and one from Craig Johnson settled the tie.

Ducklington; one of only two teams who can catch the leaders; continue their challenge with a 3-1 win over Chadlington. Adam Clarke, Cam Donohue and Gary Brooks all found the back of the net with Steven Hunt replying for relegation threatened Chad.

Hailey leap-frogged Carterton Town A in mid-table after beating them 3-1. Sean King, Luke Manning and Ian Steele were all on the score sheet with Chris MacNeil replying for Town.

Division One
Yet again the Division One was thrown wide open after leaders Brize Norton were beating by the bane of all those in the top 4, Eynsham SSC.
Goals from Connor McMahon and Andy Stratford settled the tie.

Carterton Pumas are still in with an outside chance of the title after a 4-0 win over Kingham. Tom Smart, Ste Harris, John Ward added to an own goal to secure the points.

Division Two
The first casualty of the season was confirmed in Division Two as Witney Royals Reserves lost 6-2 to fellow strugglers Milton, confirming their relegation. Royals, who have picked up only 4 points all season scored through Luke Lewis-Rippington, but a hat trick from Pip Benfield and further strikes from Tom Hemming, Jake Taylor and Lukas Dolezel settled the tie. Milton now need a further two wins from their remaining 3 games to be sure of survival.

Division Four
Corinthians completed their season in epic fashion with a resounding 11-1 thrashing of the unpredictable Eynsham SSC Reserves. Frank Webb lead the scoring as he signed off with a 6-goal haul. Mark Henderson added another 4 with Dan Smith rounding off the thrashing.

Charlie Harper scored a hat trick in Spartan Rangers A’s 3-0 win over FC Hollybush Reserves.

A single goal from Nathan Beckett was enough to earn Bampton United Reserves a 1-0 win over Wootton Reserves.
