Junior Challenge Cup
Chipping Norton made light work of FC Mills in their cup encounter. Warwick Tompkins scored twice in the 7-0 win whilst Mark Corbett¸ James Harri, Arrun Witham, Rhys Warner-Carter and Bayliss Greenall got the others.

Hailey Reserves eased past Wootton with a 3-0 win. Carl Russell, Dave Weetman and Foarde Davis all hit the back of the net.

Nathan Harris scored a hat trick in Minster Lovell’s 5-0 win over Milton. James Littlewood found the net in the first half but further goals from Scott Thompson and Andrew Forteath killed off any chance of a comeback.

West Witney ran out 5-1 winners over AC Finstock. Jason Blackman scored for the hosts but Ben Whitaker, Carl Dodds, Ian Sparkes and Tony McLeman were amongst the goals that won the tie for the visitors.

Colin Tyrell, Stu Read and Richard Taylor all scored for hosts Brize Norton in their 3-1 win over Witney Royals Reserves. Russell Plumb hit back in vain for the visitors.

Division One’s Hanborough Reserves narrowly edged through against 10-man FC Chequers Reserves from the second Division in their tie. Both sides created and squandered chances throughout the match, but goals from Joe Burgess and Dan Smith either side of half time sent the hosts through.

It took extra time to separate Freeland A and Middle Barton with the visitors running out 3-2 winners. Chris Greenaway and Matt Harding scored for the hosts but a hat trick from Ashley Scearce secured the visitors passage to the next round.

Witney Wanderers and Charlbury Town Reserves were also level at full time. Tom Gregory and Darryl John put the hosts ahead with Sam Cleaver (2) pulling the visitors level. Gary Jones then notched for Charlbury but further goals from Mark Saxel, Dwight Walker and Roger Pereira put Wanderers in the draw for the next round.

Supplementary Cup
FC Mills Reserves season continues to improve; this time with a 5-1 win over Wychwood Foresters. Martin East (2), Shane Roach, Arron Rowland and Jason Brackett got the goals.

John Smales and Ollie Bush each bagged a brace in Carterton B’s 7-0 thrashing of Greystones. Dave Anstee, John White and Adam Harris got the others.

Kai Merrett grabbed a hat trick in Carterton Pumas 10-0 mauling of Chipping Norton Reserves. The other goals were shared amongst Darren Davenport, Keiron Lace, Kyle Norton, Ryan Maddison, Simon Turner, Dan Chillington. The visitors completed the scoring by putting the ball into their own net.

Premier Division
League leaders Hailey dropped points in their 1-1 draw with Spartan Rangers as they look to win back the Premier Division title. Dave Cross gave Hailey the lead but a Steve Williams strike earned a point for the hosts.

Current Champions Hanborough, are now hot on Hailey’s heels after beating Kingham AB 4-0. Dan Haggie, Mark Stichcombe and Tom Weedon were amongst the goals.

North Leigh’s outside chance of the taking the title slipped away as they went down 2-1 to Combe. James Newman and Matt Aker scored the goals for the hosts with Will Smaldon replying for North Leigh.

Shaun Gilbert (2) and Craig McCallum were on the score sheet for Charlbury Town as they beat Carterton A 3-0.

FC Chequers slipped closer to the drop zone after their 6-0 defeat at the hands of Ducklington. Darren Harris and Craig Mays each scored two with Ben Hutter and Damien Tolley getting the others.

Division One
Aston went down 3-2 to FC Nomads with Chris Lawrence (2) and Josh Truby getting the goals. Graham Barclay and Daryl Kew scored for Aston.

The points were shared at Ducklington Reserves where the hosts were held to a 0-0 draw by Stanton Harcourt.

Division Two
Table toppers Ducklington A moved 8 points clear as they beat Bampton 4-0. Tom Madden (2), Harvey Butler and Will Graham each found the back of the net.

Division Three
Eynsham SSC missed their chance to go top of Division Three after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Minster Lovell. Jamie Buller and John Ayres put the hosts ahead before Cody Davies pulled one back for the visitors. There was a small kerfuffle after a goalmouth scramble before John Forteath brought parity to the score line.

North Leigh B missed their chance to close the gap on the top two as they went down 4-1 to AFC Marlborough. Matt Timms scored for the hosts in the second half after Anthony Brooker (2), Callum Emmett and Steve Foreman had put the visitors ahead.

Mark Haydon and Jamie Goodwin each bagged a brace in West Witney Reserves 7-1 win over basement boys Witney Royals A. Josh Grant, Ryan Field and David Boughtflower all scored for the hosts with Mikey Piper replying for Royals.

Division Four
Tom Mason grabbed himself a four-goal haul in Freeland B’s 8-0 thrashing of Combe Reserves. Freeland moved into second with the result as Mark Buckingham (2), Dave Harris and Keith Byles also added.

Corinthians slipped to third as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Ducklington B. Mike Mayne and Darren Cornish gave the hosts the lead but Ben Jackson scored twice in the second half to earn Duck a point.

The points were also shared as Spartan Rangers A drew 2-2 with Eynsham SSC Reserves. Dan Thompson and Alex Mills hit back for Spartan after Connor McMahon and Andy Stratford had put Eynsham in the lead.
