Premier Division
Saturday saw a potentially decisive results in the Premier Division as reigning champions and current second place side West Witney beat current league leaders Carterton Town A 2-0. Carl Dodds and Chris Hirons both got on the score sheet, moving Witney to within 6 points of the leaders with two games in hand.

Chipping Norton beat relegation fodder, Brize Norton 2-1 with Warwick Thompkins and Kieran Watts both finding the back of the net with Dan Frizzell replying for Brize.

Witney Royals dropped a place with Minster Lovell moving up to 5th after Minster recorded a 2-0 win over their Royals hosts. Nathan Harris bagged both goals.

Ducklington moved off the bottom of the division and gave their survival hopes a boost as they beat fellow strugglers, Hanborough 4-2. Jack Morton and Josh Hartley each bagged a brace for Duck with Liam Harris and Neil Rose scoring for Boro’.

Division One
The action was all mid-table in Division One as Ryan Maskery (2), Bradley Evans and Dan Townsend all scored as North Leigh earned a 4-0 win over Kingham.

The points were shared at Aston where the hosts drew 1-1 with Combe, stalling their promotion push. Benji Sunblad netted for Aston with Matt Baker levelling for Combe.

John Ayres scored a hat trick, yet finished on the losing side as his side, Eynsham SSC went down 4-3 to Chadlington. Charlie White (2), Dan Cleevely and Matt Brock all hit back to take maximum points for Chad.

FC Hollybush eased their relegation worries after a 4-1 win over FC Nomads. Dave Cooper (2), Ally Laing and Steve Aldous scored the for hosts with Dave Pryce replying for Nomads.

Division Two
Leaders Stonesfield bounced back from last week’s draw to record a 2-0 win over Milton. Paul Penney and Mike Phipps both scored to earn all 3 points.

Ryan Moss scored the only goal of the game as second place Kirtlington beat Bampton United 1-0.

Carterton Town B’s early season form seems to have left them after going down 2-0 to Carterton Rangers. The visitors moved up into third with the win as Adam Lee was on hand to net both goals.

Division Three
It wasn’t a great day for the promotion hopefuls of Division Three as runaway leaders, Ducklington, dropped two points in a 0-0 stalemate with Chipping Norton Town Reserves.

Party spoilers Middle Barton ruined Tower Hill’s chance to go second, inflicting a 4-1 defeat on the title contenders. John Umney (2), Charlie Yeomans and an own goal contributed to the tally with Joe Brown scoring the consolation goal for the visitors.

Bourton Rovers Reserves picked up their first win of the season with a 4-3 win over Brize Norton. Matt Winter (2), Tom Rolfe and Ben Easter all got on the score sheet for the hosts. Bartek Lachwicz (2) and Jack Towns scored for Brize, who have now been dragged back into the relegation fight.

Division Four
Joel Spalding scored a hat trick in Spartan Rangers A’s 5-3 win over Aston. Charlie Fisher was amongst the scorers for the visitors but further goals from Matt Townsend and James Macke settled the tie in favour of the hosts.

Wychwood beat Bampton United 2-1 with Steve Harris and Dan Kerrigan both netting before Sammy Hancock pulled one back for the hosts.

Wootton Reserves moved out of the bottom two courtesy of a 3-1 win over Chadlington Reserves. The sides are now level on points after a Jon Holder hat trick secured the win for Wootton. Andy Fleet pulled one back for Chad.

OFA Charity Cup
Luke Manning banged in another hat trick for Hailey as they saw off Garsington 5-3 in the Oxfordshire Charity Cup. Jack Woods also bagged a brace in the win that saw Hailey through to the semi-final.
