Division Two
The cold weather took an icy grip of the Witney & District fixtures this weekend with only a handful of games being played. At the top of Division Two, visitors Stonesfield received an icy reception from hosts Carterton Rangers as they played out a 2-2 draw. Rangers, who have a clutch of games in hand on the leaders, scored through Lee Keys and Carl Shirley.

Milton kept their slim promotion hopes alive after a 4-2 defeat of Witney Wanderers. The goals were shared out amongst Hillary, James, Hocknell and Benfield with Bason and Kingston replying for the visitors.

Division Three
A Dave Cross hat trick was the highlight in Spartan Reerves 5-3 win over Ducklington A. Division Three’s once runaway leaders now have only a 6 point lead with Spartan hot on their heels. Craig Isle and Omar Semlali scored the others for Spartan.

Division Four
Tower Hill Reserves retained took top spot after a 5-2 win over Bampton United Reserves. Sammy Hancock and Danny Paintin scored for Bampton with Will Graham (2), Adam Townsend (2) and an own goal completing the tally for the visitors.

Second place Eynsham A stay level on points with Tower Hill after a 2-1 win over Wootton Reserves. Declan Green and Aled Newton scored for the hosts with Dan Heath netting for the visitors.

Milton Reserves moved to a comfortable mid-table position after an even more comfortable 7-1 win over Chadlington Reserves. CalluM Jeffires was on target for the hosts but a Dan Hootton four-timer with further goals from Toby Case, Louis Breaks and Paul Townsend settled the tie in Milton’s favour.

Junior Cup – 1st Round
Adam Harris scored a hat trick in Carterton B’s 7-2 thrashing of Eynsham SSC Dan Sollis (2), Chris Jones and Jon Goodman scored the others with John Ayres netting two consolation goals for Eynsham.

Chadlington Reserves racked up an impressive 8-0 win over Enstone with the goals being shared amongst George Slatter (2), Jordan Godfrey (2), Martin Plumbridge, Andy Wiffen, Ashley Scearce and Daniel Cleevely.

Supplementary Cup 1st Round
Bourton Rovers Reserve are through to the next round after narrowly beating Eynsham SSC Reserves 3-2. Lee Parsons and Steve Wright were on target for the hosts but goals from Craig Gilson, Jake Oakey and Tom Rolf settled the tie in favour of the visitors.
