Jack Busby Memorial Trophy

Charlbury Reserves progressed into the final of the Jack Busby Trophy after beating Aston Reserves 2-1. Sean Godfrey and Jordan Brooks gave Charlbury a 2-0 lead before Jack Green got a consolation deep into injury time.

Witney and District Junior Cup

Brize Norton crashed out of the Junior Cup in a 6-2 defeat to Bampton United. Lee Litton and Hayden Parker scored for the hosts but braces from Jake Pritchard and Sid Ashley and solo goals from Daniel Paintin and Connor O’Shea saw Bampton through to the next round.

FC Hollybush picked up their 18th win of the season in a 2-0 win over Carterton Rangers. Rory Winford-Pill and Jamie Stalker with the goals.

Two goals from Matt Townsend and a goal from Alex Thomson saw Spartan Rangers Reserves through to the next round in their 3-0 win at home to Hanborough Reserves.

Witney and District Supplementary Cup

Jimmy Deabill made it 33 goals for the season with another two at the weekend in Bletchingtons 2-0 win over Ducklington Reserves.

Siege FC made it 9 wins on the trot in their 3-1 win away at Milton Reserves. Dan Hooton scored his 15th of the season but it was only a consolation as goals from Nathan Howells, Carl Austin and Ben Reardon saw Siege through to the next round.

Spartan Rangers A made it into the next round with a narrow 2-1 win against brampton United Reserves. Rich Ghagan scored for the visitors, Lewis Oakey and Mev Gundeem helped Spartan through.

Wootton eased into the next round of the cup with a 6-1 demolishing of Corinthians. Michael Steers grabbed himself a hattrick, Mark Grisbrooke, Karl Gustha and Jamie Hutton were also on target. Charlie King scored for Corinthians.

Witney and District Senior Cup

Jack Wood scored the only goal in Hailey’s 1-0 win over Eynsham SSC.

Premier Division

Carterton Town A moved up to 6th after beating Combe 3-1, thanks to goals from Olly Bush, Dave Wanless and Wes Christian. Charlie Ibbotson scored his 6th of the season for Combe.

Hanborough continued their fine form and made 9 wins in 9 in their 3-1 win over Spartan Rangers. Josh Grant scored for the travelling side, Craig Johnson, Dan Haggie and the ever-present Jack Morton were all on target for Hanborough.

Kirtlington moved up to third in their 5-2 win at home to Minster Lovell. Nathan Kelly hit two, Ryan Moran-Ross, Shane Probitts and Jordon Parker were also all on target. Charlie McCulloch and Sam Wright scored for Minster.

Division One

FC Nomads finished their season with a 3-0 defeat at home to Chadlington. Jacob Halewood and Gavin Walton (2) with the goals.

Connor Moore and Chris West helped Moreton Rangers go three unbeaten for the first time this season in their 2-2 draw with Stonesfield. Jack Barker and Liam Hatton scored for the visitors.

Division Two

Witney Wanderers came out on top in a 9 goal thriller with Chipping Norton Reserves as their game finished 5-4. Yusuf Okunade, Rhys Warner-Carter and Dan Botts doubled weren’t enough for the home side. Karal Loos, Callum Reed, Bernie Crumlish and Stu Morrison (2) scored for the winning Wanderers side.

FC Ascott got back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory away at Kingham All Blacks. Matt Mills and Pete Barnicoat with the goals.

Tower Hill moved topped of the table as they put 5 past Hailey Reserves without reply. Ed Smith and Jack Scott with a brace a piece, James Scott with the fifth.

Division Four

Chadlington Reserves made it back to back wins for the first time this season with a 3-1 win away at Eynsham Reserves. Lee Parsons scored for the homeside, Olly Jordans double and Jonnie Jeffcock’s first goal of the season moved Chadlington up to 13 points for the season.

Danny Rayfield’s double was in vain as FC Mills lost their third game in four away to Stonesfield Reserves. Dan Bartle and Connor Ladbrooke (2) were on target in Stonesfield’s 3-2 win.
