Supplementary Cup

Division Three leaders Bletchington made it through to the second round of the cup with a convincing 5-1 win over Divison Four, Kingham Reserves. Tom Matthews grabbed a consolation for Kingham but a brace each for Mark White, Jimmy Deabill and a solo effort from Loren Bushay saw them through.

Milton Reserves got back to winning ways with a 7-2 thrashing over Eynsham Reserves. Shaun Rowbotham and Lee Parsons were on target for Eynsham. George Ford (3), Stephen Pearce (2), Will Collett and Dan Hooton all scored for Milton.

FC Mills crashed out of the cup to Division Three side FC Hollybush Reserves, losing 3-2. Ian Parks and James Rogers found themselves on the scoresheet but Joe Hatt’s brace and an own goal saw Hollybush through.

Siege FC made it 5 wins in 5 in their 3-2 win at home to Minster Lovell Reserves, seeing them through to round two. Aidan Foard and Leo Haines were on target for Minster but goals from Chris Bowles, Will Griffiths and Adam Maskey saw Siege prevail.

John Fathers Junior Shield

Goals from Jacob Haynes and Jamie MacDonogh saw Carterton Rangers through to the semi finals of the Junior Shield in their 2-1 win away at FC Ascott. Tom Cairns with the goal for the hosts.

Hanborough continued their fine form with a 6-0 hammering away at Tower Hill. Craig Johnson and Jack Morton found the net twice, Dan Haggie and Ian Steele also joined in on the scoring,

Junior Cup

Four goals for Sam Philpott and two for Dom Hemmings saw Kingham All Blacks through to the next round of the Junior Cup in their 6-0 win against Milton.

Spartan Rangers Reserves needed extra time to get past FC Nomads in their 5-4 thriller. Chris Laurence scored his 15th and 16th goals of the season for Nomads but they were only a consolation as two goals for Matt Townsend and goals for Jack Simpson, Gareth Thomas and Dec Stephens saw Spartan through to the next round. Rul Alves and James Hopkins were also on target for Nomads.

Stonesfield also found themselves into the second round of the Junior Cup with a convincing 5-1 win over Witney Wanderers. Gary Atkinson was on target for Wanderers but Rafa Rice’s double and goals from Bruce Wilson, Pete Searle and Paul Penney helped Stonesfield prevail.

Premier Division

Charlbury Town went 13 points clear in their 5-0 win over Hailey. Warwick Tompkins, Craig McCallum, Steve Hunt, Stefan Lang and Mark Goode were all on target.

Yusef Okunade’s brace helped Chipping Norton to their first win in 4 as they beat Eynsham SSC 3-2. Josh Hunt was also on target for Chippy, John Ayres got both goals for Eynsham.

Dave Cross’ hattrick saw Spartan Rangers move up to 5th in their 4-2 win away at Kirtlington. Kieren Watts was also on target for Spartan, Alex Metcalfe and Nathan Kelly for Kirtlington.

John Fletchers double was enough for Minster Lovell in their 2-1 win over Witney Royals. Dan Townsend with Royals’ goal.

Division Three

Aston Reserves kept up the pressure at the top of the table with a 4-2 win over Bampton United Reserves, thanks to a Nick Angus hattrick and a solo effort from Lee Beer. Jake Pritchard and Connor O’Shea scored for Bampton.

Bourton Rovers Reserves made it two wins in two in their 3-2 victory over Ducklington Reserves, despite Courage Nyenya and Tom Townsend’s goals. Lee Mosson’s double and Ben Hughes goal saw Bourton creep up to 9th.

Division Four

Combe Reserves’ Leon Richards scored three in their 5-3 win over Brize Norton Reserves. Mike Gardner and Charlie Ibbotson were also on target for Combe. Daniel Simon, Jason Hirshfield and Haydn Parker also scored for Brize.

Chadlington Reserves picked up their first point since November in a 1-1 draw with Spartan Rangers A. Charlie White scored for Chad and James Macke found the net for Spartan.

Wootton Reserves made it two wins in two in their 3-2 win over FC Ascott Reserves. Tom Wilson and Will Coles found the net for Ascott. Jacob Cooke, Frazer Scott and Mark Mumford were all on target for Wootton.
